Replaced a broken one on a 20+ yo oven. Did smoke for about a minute with first heat up, but has not since. After several months of use, still working without issue

I have an old avocado green GE oven. In the house when I moved in a year ago. Element literally caught fire like a welding rod. This looked to match up and comparing price to local, this just made sense.Took almost a week to get it so even with prime, you won’t have your oven but at a quarter of the price, I didn’t mind the wait. When it came in, it took 20 minutes to install. Be sure to turn off your breaker and turn back on when finished. Then reset the clock.Very good investment. No dead spots. Easy install. Bolted right in.Highly recommend especially on the old ovens that are hard to find parts.

This cooking element worked perfectly. Slightly different shape than original but occupies the same area. Now bake times are within normal range. No one locally stocks parts like this any longer And it takes a week for them to get it unless you pay extra for shipping

This fit our GE Profile lower oven like the original. The space between the two leads or prongs for the electrical connections is narrower than the original but the wires connected with screws and the space difference didn’t matter. There are support brackets to hold the element up from the bottom of the oven and one of them did not touch the oven bottom because the element is slightly warped. I suspect this will flatten out as it heats and reheats. At half the price of an original this element was a bargain.

I bought this to fix my grandmas 60 year old oven, and I couldn’t be happier. Grandma is happy, it was easy to install, and it’s generally just a great part. Beats buying a whole new oven.

The element in my GE wall oven burned through so I purchased the ERP WB44X200 Bake Element to replace it. There weren't any instructions but I had watched a video that said to turn off the electricity and remove the element. The ERP WB44X200 Bake Element was a perfect fit for my GE oven.

This was EXACT and what I liked best is that when it was on the orange color was the same throughout the elements indicating no hot spots and a well made product. comes with new cover and connection screws...better than original.Takes maybe 10 minutes to do this job and you just need a screw driver that fits the screws in the back of the oven.HOW TO: Remove the screws at the back of the oven that hold the small cover plate, one screw on each side. Carefully pull the element towards you and then either unscrew or pull of the connectors connecting the wires to the element. Replace the element with the new element making sure the support feet face down to the oven floor. Reconnect and screw on the cover. Your done.

Your element is getting ready to go if you find it's begining to lose its shape.First, locate the model number of your built in oven in the upper right, front facing corner. Use a search engine to find the part number for your element. Type in, for example, "GE Oven Model Lookup." Next, click on 1 of the ads. I used Applicance Parts Pros and typed in model number JKP77G0J3BG. 19 pages of part numbers were returned with the lower element on page one. Type in the part number at Amazon and order it.If your oven light is out, replace it at the same time. Take out the old bulb, note the Watts and order a 2 pack of Appliance Bulbs. It's quite easy to install. Plan on 30 minutes if you also take the time to clean the floor of the oven. Be sure to turn off the oven at the breaker box before you begin.
