I have many original, antique cast iron items including urns like this.The original antique urns seem to all be cast in one piece and the newer ones are two pieces bolted together. I have a two piece urn that I acquired about 15 years ago and have been looking for an exact match ever since. This is perfect match. The manufacturer has apparently been making these for many years.I'm very happy with the urn and would be very interested in finding what else this foundry makes!

I ordered 2 of these lovely urns as I required a pair for and entrance way.Unfortunately only 1 arrived and was broken in half !! I did get my money back for this item but the other 1 went awol and never arrived and I still haven’t received my money back.To be fare to esschert it seemed a quality item and was clearly broken after dispatch.
