I selected this spa to replace a 20+ year old used spa that had died because of the space I needed to put the spa in. An octagonal spa would have fit better, but I did not find any with the depth of this spa. The spa has many positive features: 1) one-piece solid construction, 2) plug-n-play for 110 volt installation, 3) adequate depth, 4) ample jets power, 5) easy setup, 6) inside surface is pretty much non slip, yet it is still comfortable, 7) and it looks good too. The spa arrived a month earlier than I had requested, but fortunately the weather was cooperative enough to allow me to set it up earlier than I had anticipated. I was notified the day before and the day of the delivery, and the kind delivery driver helped me roll the spa to my back yard and up a set of 2 steps on my deck. Altogether, that took us about 10 minutes. When setting up the spa, I started with 38 degree water and took it all the way to 104 degrees which took about 36 hours. The spa cools down relatively quickly when using it, but I attribute that to the cool air (about 46 degrees outside) being introduced through the jets. I wish the spa could go higher than 104 degrees, but that is a federal regulation, unfortunately. I did not purchase an ozonator with the spa, but use a floating bromine tabs dispenser. That works just fine. The LED lights provide enough light, but not so much as to be an annoyance. I am looking forward to using the spa in warmer months; March 4 is by far the earliest I have ever set up a spa in Wisconsin, but we have had a relatively warm winter this past year.Update March 26, 2020. Although I did not write this review to receive 2 free filters, as of today I have not received any word from the company even though I have emailed them 3 times asking how to get the free filters. One of the jets was working very poorly - I found a chunk of plastic plugging the outlet. The topside control has a gap between the control and the spa itself. I suppose I will have to use some silicone to seal this oversight.

For 2,300 bucks delivered this tub is awesome!Pros:Made in the USA, I am a vet so that's high up on my list! The Seats are at different heights so you can regulate your body temperature by scooting left or right.High quality cover for 3 seasons, we will see how it does in the New England winterNice American made Balboa internal components and control padBullet proof roto-molded design makes this thing way more substantial than I expected!Nice little multi-color light, but you don't need much.Great jets once the air is turnedlounger gives an excellent back massageTemp seems to be on the high side of it's calibration range compared to my old coleman soft tub.Nice surefooted texture for easy entrance and exit.110V works great so far, it's my only option in my town house so this is a relief! The grey looks much nicer then we thought it would. The Cover Valet NP509 Spa Cover Lift and Caddy works great with itThe Confer Plastics Spa Handi Step, Dark Gray matches the color and contour of the tub perfectly.Cons:The Jets are weak without the air on. I am sure this will be a temp killer during the 4 winter months but something I can live with since I do not have a 220V option. I wish there was a 1/2 tub jet diverter which could make the water only jets more powerful for half the tub. When it's 40-50 degrees out the tub will drop 2-4 degrees an hour, but I knew this buying a 110V tub.SummaryYou have nothing to loose, I saw one on craigslist that was two years old and it sold for 1500 bucks in 7 days. The tub feels hotter than 104, it eases my morning stiff back and ankles so well and i am reaching for the Advil way less since I bought this tub!Update 11 months laterI am still in love with this awesome tub! I shut it down for 4 months this winter and recommissioned it in March. I didn't realize how much I missed it! I had to buy a little pump to get the last 5% of the water out, bu then I just got a plank of wood and stood thing thing up on it's side and gave it a good cleaning. This is something you just cant do with a non-rotomolded tub. This thing is built like a tank! I need to use the strap wrench again to purge the air from the system, and then to my delight it fired right up! I have noticed that if i keep the jets running on setting one for an hour I can get the tub up to 105 degrees. This was my best purchase over the past few years, and I look forward to using it all the time.
