My internal microphone on my Surface Pro 9 was having some issues. could not increase the transmitted volume enough, despite Microsoft's assistance. I purchased this widget since it was small and unobtrusive, but while the sound levels it produced were louder than the internal mic, it still wasn't as loud as I needed for a regular Zoom call I participate in. I ended up using a larger mic that was internal to a small video camera, that mic produced great sound levels.

What a bargain, it works great. Using it now to write this review. I had my doubts because it was so cheap but it works great. Had a little trouble inserting it into the socket didn't fit quite right but once I got it in it's fine and probably will never take it out so it doesn't matter.

totally surprised such a cheap microphone and one that captures the voice so clearly, I have not found something like this, very good at a distance, hears the voice clearly, I have no problems with misinterpretation with This product, on the other hand, the benefit is that it is very discreet. For example, I use it in my work that people are bothered by the fact that there is a professional microphone in front of them because of the security complex, which helps me a lot because I use voice command

I'm amazed that this little, inexpensive, plug in mini mic lives up to the promo. I literally found a free usb port, plugged it in, no download, no reboot... just opened zoom and it connected and sound quality is great. So nice and easy. Thanks.

Surprised that such a little mic could work so well! Great value. Fixed my laptop audio problems.

This little unit is not stereo or high fidelity. It plugs into the top of my PC tower which is within three feet of my voice, and is seemingly equal in quality to the microphones which are built into most current laptops. It appears to be the same model which I purchased on Amazon some time ago, which is still working just fine.

My laptop didn’t have a mic built in, which is weird since it had a camera built in. I had to have a mic to take the written portion of the LSAT but didn’t want to spend a lot. This did the job, installed automatically, and is small enough you can leave it there without worrying about it getting caught or bumped when packing it in a bag. This is probably showing my age, but I’m always worried when something is inexpensive. This works and doesn’t cost much. Win win

Nothing I did would make this work. I checked the microphone settings, the driver, etc. Other mics (I have an old one and one on my webcam) work just fine. I went to Device Manager...it reports the mic is working...but it isn't working. I've tested it on ZOOM and using the Voice Recorder app on my PC and it just doesn't work. I have the mic volume set all the way up (it was defaulted to zero) and that did nothing to help. The trouble shooter keeps saying the device works...but it doesn't work.
