3. For same quantity of LEDs, when the LED view angle is wider, the IR distance will be shorter.
4. The IR distance and view angle are for your referance, the final view distance & angle is depend on your camera lens.

The beam is fairly tight and more like a spot light than a flood light. I got two of these and a similar but small IR illuminator with only six lights in it. The little one with six lights puts out more light than this one with fifteen. The specs, the advertisement, and all the info make this look like a pretty good light but it falls short. Can't recommend this one.

I have a solid security system and tons of cameras.I've used four light, six light infrared illuminators.I bought this out of curiousness and it blew me away.The light shines down about a hundred feet of my driveway and is insanely bright on camera.It has a great mix of flood and directional light.Plugs right into the standard 1amp 2amp 5amp DC power plugs.It is worth every cent, I ordered a second.

It says buried in the fine print that it does not come with the power adapter, and no of course I didn’t see it because NOTHING POWERED SHOULD EVER CONE WITHOUT A POWER ADAPTER.
