The Newly improved G3 gearbox developed under collaboration between Matrix and S&T offers the same features found in the G2 series such as a microswitch trig, improved steel gears, full steel teeth piston, and aluminum cylinder. New to the G3 series gearboxes is an improved QD internal system which makes it even easier to swap to different strength internals without disassembly. The inline MOSFET features over discharge protection and the electric trig features a magnetic sensor for improved responsiveness.

Something that i liked about this Airsoft rifle is that it was made with good quality products. It was a bit heavier then a couple of my other airsoft guns but that is because some of the parts on here are metal. This gearbox seemed to be made out of metal or steel because it is really heavy in the center of the gun where the gearbox is. this comes with a mag that holds 100+ BBs. Another thing that I noticed straight out of the gun is that it doesn't include a battery. But that was okay because of the fact I already have other ones. This was definitely one of my more favorite Airsoft rifles because of its amazing quality and craftsmanship. There is one downside with this though otherwise it would be a five stars. The motor gets warm pretty fast like after firing through 2 or 3 magazines. Also the motor out of the box didn't seem to be aligned the best it could've I had to push up the motor a little bit by tightening the screw that pushes the motor a bit more in. The reason I found this out is since I have some other airsoft guns. This one was making some loud noise like a lot. So I was like let me try to make it better and ended up making it a bit quieter, enough to where the screeching sounds wasn't there anymore. This shoots perfect though with the perfect balance between power and speed!
