The sellers description and photos clearly describe this as an BRP made by the OEM Pollak. This description and photos is why I decided on this item. Unfortunately this is NOT OEM part as advertised. It is clearly a Titan brand Chinese made part. For this much $$ I would have went to the dealership and had a real one on my hands a day ago. Buyer beware. The seller should refund a portion of this order.

This is NOT what the listing says it is. Cheap Chinese junk. If you are looking for an OE BRP part, this is not the one. I’m in a pinch and need to get on the water for a tournament Sunday or I would ship this piece of garbage back.

I Paid a lot more for this switch as it was specified as original BRP part. It is not a BRP part at all. Nothing but a cheap aftermarket part I could have bought for a fraction of what I paid for this. NOT HAPPY!

I had to file my controller for barrel switch to fit. Pole designation letters are not visible. It works but looks and feels junky compared to original. No numbering or trade name on barrel as original has. I had to makeit work because I was in a pinch but felt duked as the switch was not what was shown and I paid the extra seventy five dollars or so over a china switch for OEM reliability. It works but I don’t feel it confident with it and will buy an original spare at my expense. That’s another 100 bucks.

Easy to install and worked perfectly until my spouse went to start the boat. Discovered that the back that was just pushed into the switch body had popped out and the springs, plates and peices were all now in my throttle and starter switch housing. Paid twice for this one. Worthless to me now.

This ignition works great. Easy to install. If you’ve lost your boat keys, or need a new ignition, I recommend this one. Hooked straight up and the boat started.

I purchased a cheaper off brand switch and the quality was very poor. Then purchased this OEM switch at almost twice the cost but the quality is much superior. Should have purchased OEM from the beginning.

Used this on a 2000 Johnson binnacle control that the kill switch lanyards wouldn't stay on. The ridges on the switch had worn allowing the lanyard to fall off while running without shutting the engine down. Multiple lanyard were tried with no success.With the laws for mandatory kill switch and the active wearing of the lanyard, a working kill switch is a must. This new switch works perfectly like the original one used to.

Bought a knock off from china last year and all it did was blow fuses. The BRP one work the way it should and No blown fuses. :)

OEM, very happy with the product. Original manufacturer's packing and part.There are so many aftermarket ones online and misleading representation of the ignition switch. Yea, cheaper prices listed. I did ordered the "cheaper" price one and when I received it, the package was in a generic zip lock bag, pre made labels stickers, and the product itself was cheap plastic, plug and play pins smaller diameter, poor quality, China made.Returned the aftermarket one for refund.Ordered this ignition switch from this seller on Amazon, yes but pricy, but you pay for what you get. I received a great quality and OEM product in the OEM packaging. Compared with other boating supply places the price is about the same give or take few dollars.Don't cheap out, or you could be stranded out in the water!
