Your cart is empty.Evotech Brain Artery Model is of natural size, made of Non-toxic PVC material, and installed on a plexiglass base. It is a great teaching aid as well as at-home learning tool as supplementary visual aid to text book knowledges. Also a great visual aid for doctor patient communication in hospital, clinic, doctor office. Evotech Brain Artery model shows following structure. Internal Carotid Arteries in the cranial cavity, the internal carotids gives rise to: Ophthalmic artery – supplies the structures of the orbit. Posterior communicating artery – acts as an anastomotic ‘connecting vessel’ in the Circle of Willis Anterior choroidal artery – supplies structures in the brain important for motor control and vision. Anterior cerebral artery – supplies part of the cerebrum. The internal carotids then continue as the middle cerebral artery. Vertebral Arteries The vertebral arteries enter the cranial cavity via the foramen magnum. Within the cranial vault, some branches are given off: Meningeal branch Anterior and posterior spinal arteries Posterior inferior cerebellar artery After this, the two vertebral arteries converge to form the basilar artery. Several branches from the basilar artery originate here, and go onto supply the cerebellum and pons. The basilar artery terminates by bifurcating into the posterior cerebral arteries. Arterial Circle of Willis The terminal branches of the vertebral and internal carotid arteries all anastomose to form a circular blood vessel, called the Circle of Willis. Anterior cerebral arteries Internal carotid arteries – located immediately proximal to the origin of the middle cerebral arteries. Posterior cerebral arteries – terminal branches of the basilar artery To complete the circle, two ‘connecting vessels’ are also present: Anterior communicating artery – connects the two anterior cerebral arteries. Posterior communicating artery – connects the ICA to the posterior cerebral artery.

Received defective model, platform does not lay flat due to protruding piece… this model is probably worth $6 total… don’t waste ur money.

This is a unique and interesting model showing the circle of Willis, the only problems is that it leaves off the posterior cerebellar artery from the vertebral artery. Otherwise awesome.

I had a stroke a few years ago so brain and vascular health are very important to me these days. I do creative work and I keep visual reminders at my desk for things that motivate me and this worked right into that for me. It is nicely made and came with a little pamphlet showing all of the different arteries names. This is a great piece for a doctor's office and a biology classroom.

This anatomic model is small and flimsy. It looks like something a medical supply company would give away free at trade shows, along with company logo pens and bottle openers. You're supposed to mount the one-piece Circle of Willis on the plexiglass stand by sliding the tiny peg on top of the stand into a hole on the vasculature. However, when I put the two pieces together, the vascular piece slips sideways so that it's hanging crooked. I suppose I could glue the two together to keep the model in proper position. But I'm not going to bother, because I can't see this product being of any value for educational purposes. Not recommended.

Decent item. If you don’t know the circle of Willis it works. It helps explain things to patients. It isn’t entirely accurate but usable. It is very fragile and less than 72hrs in a busy neurosugery office. Probably fine to use at home for studying
