It is extremely portable. Just detach the head from its stand, stick both into their respective travel bags, and then sling them over your shoulder. You can adjust the output volume at will. Now you can practice anytime, anywhere, and to your heart’s content!

Good practice pad for beginners but does not offer any type of actual drum sounds, only an electronic beeping. The stand is nice and holds the practice pad nicely.

Calling this out for those, like me, missed the fact that it doesn't sound like a drum. It only BEEPS when you hit the pad. If you don't mind that, then the stand and pad are actually pretty sturdy and the beat settings give good variety. Just want something that sounds like a drum!

Overall construction and feel are pretty good. Really like the beat counter and metronome.The main complaint is the sound. It would be a lot better if it sounded like a drum, even a cheap electronic one, instead of just an electronic beep.

My son really likes this practice pad. We also purchased a bass drum practice pad to go with it. He took it today to show his teacher. The teacher liked it as well. The features it comes with are very helpful to learners.

Bought this for my 13 year old daughter to practice her drumming. Great alternative to a full drum set! Has different beats to play along with. Came with a stand, carrying case and drum sticks!
