It is a reliable and durable alarmsystem. I have install one in every vehicle I own and there are 5 now. As long as you connect it properly, it wil work perfect for many years. I also have install many in fleet vehicles for customers.

Used it to replace the module of an EXCAL500 system that went bad thinking it was the same model. No problems, just spliced some wires and added an extra one that was on this system but wasn't on the other one and that was it, a bit time consuming but it worked. Not exactly plug and play but something along those lines. Solid alarm system, not the best one but the programmable features are a plus.

Rarely works as it should. One time in the year that I've had it has it actually unlocked all 4 doors. Most times it disarms but doesn't unlock any doors leaving me to use the key to get in.

I have to give it 5 stars because everything worked exactly as it should. Once adjusted correctly it did not give false alarms, it unlocked the car as it should, the anti car jack worked as it should, and it was cheap. I'm actually looking for a second one for a different vehicle right now, so as one could assume, I was satisfied with the first purchase.

All the thing mentioned about it in description and how good it is and it does this and that, unfortunately it doesn't do 80% of it, it's just waste of money, spend more and buy a better brand and donut waste your money on this crap.It doesn't open my car door, as my car require two clicks on the remote but this device send one one signal and second click doesn't work. I had to bypass the system and directly connect it to the door unlock button in on the driver side.The car hijacking is not working.My OEM alarm go on by it self since the day I installed this alarm system.The lights don't blink when opening the doors.This is the worst alarm system I have ever bought in my whole life.
