This catalyst converter save us thousands on getting the part replaced by the dealership. Although the dealership supposedly repaired it initially as part of a recall, every year since then the engine light would come on. We would have to try almost anything to get through emissions. I am so pleased of the outcome and my mechanic was a bit skeptical at first about the light staying off because past experiences but they didn’t have any problems with installation. She double checked the piece before she started working on the car and everything. When I told them that we passed emissions after her install and the light has not come back on since they were surprised. She even admitted that this converter was a good fit for the Kia. Now I know that it says it’s compatible with a Kia Soul up to year 2014. But, my car is a 2015. Yes, and I personally did my research before I ordered. All the parts were there to install the converter you just have to get the tools to do the job. I’m so glad to have “Mr Reliable” back on the road so my son can stop using my car as much. Plus it’s a good car. I like the fact that the part is still working when my mechanic told me that she have had some people come back after emissions because they light came back on or that the part was not comparable like they stated. But, this was not the case for me and my car. Two quotes one half of what the dealership wanted to charges but still pricey. Everything worked out with this catalyst converter being a lifesaver and my mechanic is reasonable so we saved ALOT of money.

For the price it is a great value. I bought a little Hyundai Accent from the neighbor that he referred to as a "throw away car". He said the only thing (he thought) was wrong with it was a bad Cat and sensors. He said it wasn't worth the time because it would probably cost thousands to fix. I found this part for a little over a hundred bucks...watched a YT video and it didn't seem that bad so figured I'd go for it. The fit, functionality and quality of the part seemed to be great. Now I have a decent little "throw away car" that I got cheap! This part helped save the day.
