The product is amazing and what I wanted, my only disappointment is that no carrier case was for it so when I have to transport it I will have to search for a case.

No need to spend a ton of money on gear. This will get the job done. It is light duty, but is easy to setup and use. If you’re in a pinch or operating on a budget, this is a good option.

Picked up this reflector holding arm to attach to my tripod, and it’s been a game-changer for my lighting setup. No more awkwardly balancing a reflector or asking someone to hold it, just clamp it in, adjust the angle, and I’m good to go. The arm itself is sturdy but lightweight, and the clamps hold onto reflectors securely without slipping. The adjustable length is a nice touch, making it easy to position the reflector exactly where I need it. Works great on both tripods and light stands, and once it’s locked in place, it stays put. Definitely makes solo shoots a lot easier and more professional-looking. If you need a simple way to keep your reflector steady without a second set of hands, this is a solid buy. Works great, holds firm, and makes lighting setups way smoother!

This is a perfectly good reflector holder, with just a few areas for improvement. Though for the price, this is a good budget friendly option.Stand mounting options:This arm comes with multiple mounting options. It can mount directly to a c-stand stud end, and tighten down a screw to hold is tight. However, it also comes with an adapter so you can mount to a 1/4" or 3/8" threaded end. Basically, no matter the tripod or stand you have, this comes with what you need.Securing the reflector:Securing the reflector is quite simple, there is a spring loaded retainer clamp on the end. Adjust the opening to roughly the width of your reflector, open one spring clamp and insert the hard edge of your reflector, then let the spring clamp close. Repeat for the opposing edge. I have found the holds very securely, even if using outside and breezy.Build quality:The overall build quality is good, not great, but good. This is mostly metal, with the exception of the spring clamp ends and the tripod/stand mount (the two most important parts). The tubing is also a tad on the thin side, but not the worst. Overall for the build quality is good and this will last, but I would prefer the previous pieces mentioned be aluminum as well for a little extra rigidity of the moving parts most likely to break.Would I recommend this reflector holder? Sure, I don't think it's bad for the price, and if you are using this a handful of times a year, it is easy to transport, holds securely, and would work just fine.

Using a reflector on a shoot is super useful if you're planning on shooting in natural lighting, but the downside is that means usually you'll need an assistant to help hold the reflector in place while you're shooting. With this holder, and a light stand, you'll be able to just set it where you need and position it with the ballhead! One caveat, if you're shooting outdoors, like with any other photography equipment, consider bringing a sand bag if it's windy, because reflectors, scrims, or any large sheets of fabric will act like a sail and fall over/fly away if the wind picks up. If you're shooting indoors and using this as a modifier with a studio light, this obviously won't apply. The materials used and build of this lightstand is about average, if you're familiar with low-middle end light stands, it feels pretty similar in construction. Take that as you will.

I got this to use with a reflector I have so I could do clam shell lighting. However, I’m disappointed in what arrived. First, the tripod is light duty and seems like “spare parts” were used to assemble it. Not all the hardware matches. It holds together, but this looks odd to me. Second, the clips at either end of the holder arm have exposed springs and when you try to press them, they sometimes go crooked and jam. It’s almost like the springs aren’t lined up correctly. Finally, the ball part that attaches to the top of the light stand keeps falling apart. It will hold once everything is tightened, but I don’t think this is correct. It seems like it is broken right out of the package. I’m overall disappointed in what I got.

First thing you need to know is reflector not included. The base of this is the cheapest lightstand you can find. The actual arm that grips the reflector is slight better. They 2 parts come in separate boxes so they may be completely unrelated in terms of manufacturing. The clips that hold the reflector under the stand, one of them was loose rattling around in the box. I was able to get it back on, but knowing they come off so easily and are easily lost was a little bit worrisome. The fact is if you need a reflector holder, this is about as cheap as you’re gonna get in terms of quality, the bottom part again seems to be worse than the arm which can be moved to a higher quality light stand. But for the money, I don’t think you’re doing all that here.
