My cat’s litter box is on linoleum that transitions to carpet. My goal with this mat was: 1) Comfort on my cat’s paws and 2) Reduction of litter getting to the carpet. No mat can eliminate it all, but this mat seems to trap about 85%. A simple shake outside and the mat is clean. It’s light weight and comfortable on the paws. All and all, one of the better mat designs I’ve owned.

I really like this mat. My kitty is a kicker but the litter stays on the mat instead of all over the floor.

I've had many different litter mats, pee pads, and out of everything I have purchased, this is by far the single best litter mat I have had. I have an elderly cat who sometimes doesn't make it into the box and has accidents. It's large, waterproof, no leaks, and easy to clean, all other litter mats that I have had, are difficult to get to clean and impossible to get the litter out of it, and if there is an accident it can get mushed in, or runoff.

I’ve purchased litter mats for over 20 years. The way this mat is constructed with the chevron styled groves allows the litter to gather & be poured easily back into the boxes or trash. If a kitty misses the box, it’s very easy to clean off the wet litter with the hose outside or a wet paper towel over the trash.I overlay the edges of two mats & place 2 litter boxes at an angle so there’s a large space for the kitties to exit the box. Very little litter ends up on the floor.They are very durable & flexible for ease of handling.

I dedicated a walk in shower as my kitty litter corridor & used 2 silicone mats to coat shower floor (to safeguard drain in middle, not edge, of floor). I wanted most of litter to dislodge from kitty paws before exit from shower, then bathroom. That part worked great & this mat had perfect dimensions & ridges.When scooping out solids I walk on the litter atop the lightweight, flexible silicone mat. A week later I went to shake out the excess fallen crystals back into the litter box & it didn't budge. I'd impressed it into the mat.This is probably no problem for normal pine pellet or scoopable or other small/ soft types of litter. However, I use AMAZING brand silica crystals litter (fuschia-purple bag) & ... well it was a good plan that didn't work for my weirdo scenario.Oh and mat came in a box so freakin cute it hurt to recycle it.

It arrived in good time and I love it. The material is a very soft flexible rubber so it has zero fold creases like I've seen in other kinds of litter mats, lies perfectly flat and it's nice and big. It really traps the litter well to the point I don't have to sweep around the litter box twice a day like I used to. The only things I'd note, which have nothing to do with the quality but just to help others--I have to use a mini vacuum to get the litter out of the grooves, sweeping the litter out is not an option obviously. Wiping out cat urine is also a struggle due to the grooves, which should be a given but something to note. And lastly, although I like that the black color mat doesn't stand out as much on my darker floors, the cat litter that falls on it stands out like a sore thumb. I wish I'd gone with gray so that you can't see it as easily. But those are things that have nothing to do with the quality. This mat is super nice and not hard to wash off in the tub. I highly recommend.
