I have two of these devices (similar, not exact) and both work about the same. The vast majority of scans go through the first time, but once in a while I have to scan something again for it to register --- not really a big deal because of how infrequent it happens. The included stand is great - my other device didn't come with one so I had to 3D print one. Easy to setup, use, and charge....no complains there at all.

This little device worked perfectly with very little setup, for me.I use it to scan things whenever I need to scan things, and have thought of lots of things to scan since I've got it - but for me, it's mostly just playing - I'm having fun thinking of all the things you can scan and track!I haven't found a solid and consistent use for this, everything it does can be done with your phone camera, but it is nice to have a device that's easier to handle for the actually scanning. You still need apps if you want to organize inventory or do something special with the info you scan, so to be honest, I can't see getting this item unless there's something that you scan a LOT and it's easier to do so with this gun than with your phone. But I am having fun with it, and it has made scanning much easier. I was really impressed with how easy it was to set up, also. Five stars.

I was looking for a scanner for a new inventory that I am building up. This item works perfect for what I need. When tested it read every Barcode and QR code that I have. The stand is easy to assemble with one screw. I like that it gives you options on how to use, but what I like the most is that it work with all devices from phone to tablets to PCs. Highly recommend for any small business or any one in need of a scanner.

It's a Chinese product, but it has a great user manual with lots of QR codes inside to activate certain features. It worked with my Android phone and M1 Mac via Bluetooth, and with my Windows desktop via USB. The trigger mode and auto-scan modes both worked well, although the auto-scan sometimes didn't activate right away - I had to wave the code in front of it a couple times before the light came on. I wanted an on-line version of the manual since I worried about loosing the paper copy, and Eyoyo emailed me a link to download one. I couldn't find it on their website.

This scanner works great. The stand is fully adjustable and the auto scan setting works perfectly. My elementary students can use it as a self checkout stand and it's made checking in books much faster for me than the old handheld unit I used to have.Setup was really easy and the included QR codes work great to set it up however you want. The multiple modes mean it's a good fit for a variety of applications. The stand took maybe 2 minutes to put together.I also sometimes take it off the stand and use it that way, and it works just as well.

The functionality of this Eyoyo wireless barcode scanner is essentially the same as their other models. All of the settings for the scanner are accessed and set using codes scanned from the product manual. As I've pointed out previously with other models, while this process generally works well enough, there's the constant dependence on not losing or misplacing the manual. And they don't make it easy to just download a pdf version of the manual from their website. They require a password in order to download a copy of the manual. Which you can only get by emailing their support team. It all seems a bit counter-productive. The physical form factor of this scanner is different from other Eyoyo ones I've tried. This one has a more traditional design, with a pistol grip and trigger. It includes a stand for desktop/POS usage, as well as storage. The stand is stylistically pleasing and even included 3 mounting holes in the base, if you were to choose to mount it on a vertical surface, or just want to make certain always be in the same fixed position on a horizontal surface. Such as when engaging the automatic mode. This mode is generally good for POS register usage, where the scanner basically remains in an "On" state, while USB cable tethered (or even Bluetooth connected), scanned items are brought to the scanner at a fixed location. This does not require any trigger interaction to scan items. It allows for a faster process. The scanner comes with a USB data/charging cable, the stand, and a USB Bluetooth dongle for PC connection (if needed). The dongle is not required for mobile device/tablet Bluetooth connection. Mobile device Bluetooth connection is very straightforward and easy to set up. As with most Eyoyo barcode scanners, it comes readily set for reading the most common 1d & 2D codes, and also has functionality for enabling some of the lesser common codes. If the device is not tethered or wirelessly connected to receiving device, it can be set in a storage mode, so it can capture and store reads in memory, to be downloaded afterward. Through some very simples experimenting, depending on the type & size of the code to be read, I generally saw scan distances of 2 -8 inches from the item. There is not significant scanning range distance here. Therefore, this device, like the others I've tried from Eyoyo, has a limitation of uses. It will function well for POS/Check-out register type processes or small room inventory uses, where intimate contact with the product is possible and such short distance scanning can provide some use. However, for warehouse situations or other long-distance scanning needs, this will not be adequate. The price of this barcode scanner is certainly in line with other products designed for the use cases mentioned. It has a fairly comfortable handle, although there is no grip material on the handle to prevent it from slipping. It also has a moderately short standby time. Which I personally like. There's no need to waste battery life, when the scanner may sit for several minutes between reads. This works well for this device, because it also wakes very quickly when the trigger is pressed, and quickly re-establishes its wireless connection. In general, it's a good device, as long as you have a use case that fits within its limitations. Again, the price point seems reasonable to me, for what it is. So why not give it a try?

The instructions are a bit confusing but it works well for a home office or small businesses.

We needed this at my work for an inventory of 100k plus items in our warehouses. usually the workers use pen and paper---yes, pen and paper for that volume. Needless to say, they knocked out the entire warehouse in 5 days using this scanner. It is a durable well made tool, and while you can charge with the cable, a USB would have been nice, but not a deal breaker by any means.
