Nice and bright. It doesn't seem like its too bright where it will blind other drivers, but just enough. Not sure how long these will last but they are pretty solid.

I bought these lights January 2021. It is now April 2025 and they still work great! Cheaper than halogen bulbs at the parts store, and I’ve got 4 years out of them so far! You can’t beat the quality, especially for the price. Fahren is the only LED bulb I buy now, and the one I recommend to anyone looking for LED replacements!

Definite improvement over the original halogen bulbs BUT don’t believe all that hype claiming they can be 300-800% brighter. Brighter YES, just got to make sure you get the right gloves for your headlight & it’s fitting.

These are excellent globes! Very bright and powerful! I put them into my Toyota Prado and they are fantastic on low & high beams. Unfortunately, changing from halogen to LED caused an issue. My LED light bar and Driving lights stopped working. My auto electrician said he could do rewiring to solve the issue, but the easiest option is to swap back to halogen globes. So I ordered very bright white halogen globes and now everything works again. These LED globes are brighter than the new halogen globes… but now I have everything working again! The new white halogen globes are much better than the old halogen globes too. Still okay with the purchase. If you are not running extra lights, then they will suit you very nicely. Also if you’re driving lights are wired in a different way to mine, you might be fine. I’ll still give 5 stars. As they are excellent globes!

I installed the 9006 and the 9005 in an ‘04’ jeep grand cherokee. These bulbs do a good job holding the halogen beam pattern. I was able to aim them properly and don’t have any stray light spilling out at other drivers. Not sure if it’s a thing on the ‘04’ grand cherokee’s or not. However, I don’t currently have any flickering or error codes/messages on the dash. I can’t speak to lifespan as of yet since I just installed them. Now for the but…..I found the bulbs to fit the housing loosely. This is a problem as the clocking of the bulb is very important to retain the beam pattern. I made some shim washers out of gasket material I had on hand. This made them just a touch too thick to spin into place. So I loosened the lock ring on the headlight housing and spun the bulb into place then tightened the headlight lock ring. Super solid and the bulbs will not move. All is good. All in all I find the Fahren Forscher LED bulbs to be great so far minus a small hitch in the install. The Forscher series bulbs are plenty bright and I personally don’t think the quest for the brightest bulb on earth is the best idea. You don’t have the option to turn off your headlights in inclement weather conditions. If in fog a light that is to powerful is a bad thing. You don’t drive in fog with high beams on. If these prove to be poor in fog then I’ll go back to halogen for the low beam lights only. The high beam lights will stay. You can see the future with those things!! They will only be used when it is safe to be using high beams.I am buying a second set to have in case one goes out. I can’t buy a replacement at the local auto parts store. Which is the main reason I waited so long to switch to a more modern technology for headlight bulbs. At the price of these I can justify owning a backup set.

I have a 2012 Civic and the headlights are really nothing to write home about, so I have been trying different bulbs since I got the car. When the LED bulbs first become available a few years back I tried them right away but they were really bad. Horrible beam pattern and dangerous glare, so I switched back to normal halogen right after. These Fahren is a different story. The way they are designed it can be adjusted to ensure the two LED are exactly at 3 and 9 o'clock so beam pattern is symmetric. Still a little bit of hot spot but that is expected given just one LED at each side in one bulb. The LED itself is position in a little bit of a dip and deeper into the reflector so you can not see the LED directly from any angle, thus no dangerous glare. Yes they are really bright so need to make sure not aiming it too high to blind other drivers, but they looks just like new car's stock LED light these days. I would not use them for high beam or any reflector that are designed one can directly see the bulb.Installation was easy, finding place to mount the small dongle come with it was a bit annoying but other than that it was plug and play.

I must have read reviews on 20+ different LED headlights before deciding the purchase these. Based on my driving experience, many of the aftermarket LEDs blind oncoming drivers (had that done several times to me on suburban roads), and other reports of poor quality / failures were my primary concern. Bought these based on reviews, installed them in early June, and have been very pleased over these past two months. As background, we inherited a 2008 Honda Civic with As background, my wife and I have been driving higher end cars with HIDs for over 20 years, and I now have a car with OEM LEDs. Whenever we rent cars with halogens, I'm always a little disappointed -- and the Civic was worse than any rental that I had. These weren't an easy install, but that was due to the Civic -- you need to go in from the wheel well to change the headlights (really Honda!). Had the lights been accessible from the hood, I probably could have been done in 10 minutes. You do need to find a place for the little electronics box that is attached to the bulb, but they give you what most setups need to tie it to something (wire ties and soft pads to prevent rattles). Depending on your vehicle fitment, you may need to use a little of your own ingenuity (I used longer wire ties that I had in the house, but again, I had a unique install). The brightness and beam throw on these is great -- first thing I did was pull the car out to a level street with a parked car, and pulled up behind that car from about 100ft away to see if the beam would shine into that cars rear window too much. They didn't. I then did the same thing from the opposite direction, driving towards the front of the car, and driving past it to simulate oncoming traffic. Again, I wanted to make sure I wouldn't blind an oncoming driver. Again, no issue.Once both tests were passed, I then went for a ride in my dark residential neighborhood (no street lights) -- WOW, what a difference. Night driving went from dismal to very good. I've driven this car once a week or so at night, and have only been flashed once by an oncoming driver -- that does happen sometimes when driving up a hill in my car with factory LEDs (when the oncoming driver is driving downhill) as unlike HIDs, LEDs don't self-level so people occasionally think you are driving with your high beams when driving uphill.Color temperature is pretty close to my factory LEDs (white, not blue, and I'm not sure I can explain the difference without seeing them side-by-side), and while the beam pattern isn't quite as good as an OEM LED array, it's FAR better than the halogens. Keep in mind, these retrofit kits can't possibly match a factory setup that has 3-5 LED elements in a horizontal array that were engineered specifically for that vehicle's front end.I will update this review should these cause any issues, as it's only been 2 months...Sept 2023 update — these continue to work flawlessly for the 2-1/2 years we had then installed. We’ve just sold this vehicle, but we were very happy with the quality and performance of this product.
