It's the perfect light weight compact tripod you can buy. I use it primarily for landscape photography and I'm amazed by the sturdiness of this tripod. Very well made. No room for doubt regarding the build quality.

Great tripod. Quality construction and innovative design. Very steady and a good max height. The head is great. You can snap the mounting plate in and release it easily. You have to watch the YouTube videos for all the details. There is an earlier version for a fair bit less but rather than settle it's better to spend the extra for this one as it's superior in many ways. The only knock against it is the price, ouch! It's something that you will have for a long time and since it's so compact, lightweight and quick to set up you are more likely to take it with you and use it.

The quality is okay, but I have a lot of issues with how the head detaches. When the head is all the way down it’s nearly impossible to get the latch off unless you got kid fingers. When the head is up, it’s pretty easy for the head to just fall on the ground which is exactly what happened with me. I unlatched it and had to use a second hand, it fell on the concrete. The bottom part was dented and would not go into the tripod anymore. I had to sand it down in order for it to go into the tripod anymore. The rubber liner got screwed up from my first attempt getting it in after it dented. Like in general the quality is okay, but a small dent will ruin it, so the way it’s designed kinda makes it not the most robust. I’d argue to return the thing but I need it for a job in a day so I’m stuck with this thing.Update: after using about 4 times grease has started to come up over the panning mechanism. So now all my plates have grease from the pan mechanism on them. This is incredibly annoying. It’s also pretty noticeable how bad the pan actually is, my $100 sirui tripod had better pan than this.

Very happy with this masterpiece of a tripod. Love the quick realese plate system. Also that you can easely dismantle the center-column without any tools.Yust a very clever mechanical sustem. And the 1/4 turn to release the legs is priceless. Also the hidden spikes under the rubberfoot is perfect.Hope this tripod will last as long as I live! If not I buy the exact same tripod again.

It is a great tripod that almost improves all issues in the previous version (zero F38).The legs are super smooth to expand and lock. Fast and quiet. The ball head remains compact but accepts most arca-swiss plates with a drop-in style. The center column comes with a quick-release knob that you can tear down in one second. The other details are well-designed as well. Compared to the zero F38 tripod, you can definitely feel the premium quality.Overall, it is a great tripod that I highly recommend if you want an upgrade!

Heaviest carbon fiber tripod I own. Heavier than the Peak Design, but fixes pretty much everything I hate about that tripod: twist lock legs, and a pannable head. Round legs so it flexes much less as well.Compact, not quite as much as the Peak, but overall a better tripod. Wasn't sure I liked the F38 Pro quick release plate at first, but I quite like it now.Overall happy with my purchase.

Design build quality and ease of use are all a 10 out of 10. The quick release is expertly designed. It is light weight and has a great load capacity. It is quite the upgrade from my previous tripod which was much heavier and cumbersome. Highly recommend.

This tripod has been a reliable addition to my gear for outdoor photography. The quick lock mechanism makes setup really fast and easy which is great when I’m on the move. The 61 inch height provides good range and is still compact enough when folded for travel. It’s made of carbon fiber which is lightweight making it easy to carry.
