These grommets worked perfectly for my need and are a significant improvement over traditional cable bushings. In my case, I installed an outdoor camera, and while the power wire itself is about the size of a coaxial cable, the connector at the end is a USB plug. To fit this, I had to drill a 1/2-inch hole in my garage wall to pass the cable through. A standard cable bushing wouldn't have worked because it’s too narrow for a 1/2-inch hole and wouldn't accommodate the USB connector. These grommets, however, proved to be the ideal solution.

I buried coax through a garage and the fit was good. I put a heavy dab of silicone to finish it. Was just an easy click install. I imagine the gauge of your wire could be slightly different, silicone recommended.
