The tape is removable, if that is all you want it for. However, do not expect to use it to hide lines of text for photocopying. The first line of the text (in German) in the attached photo is covered with the tape. I can still read through it.

I’m using 300lb cold press and I put the tape down and when I removed the tape it ripped the paper. I would recommend this tape . Throwing it away

I used this with my gouache paints and even with my washes, I did not have any bleed thru. Also I did not have any damage to the paper on removal.

I use this to acrylic painting on watercolour paper, most tape ripped the paper, this is very good, a bit pricey though

I wanted artist tape for holding down my paper for watercolor painting. It's important that it lifts off easily without tearing the paper, which it does. However, it is very thin, and it doesn't adhere very well. Once the water gets to the edges where the tape is, it usually lifts up from the wetness, which would make the paper warp if I didn't add more tape. So, for my purposes, this tape does not work well. However, using it to tape down a paper that will not get all wet would probably be fine. So, depending on your needs, this could be a great tape.
