It's 10 inches and it feels smaller. It's thinner than other pizza stones which is good if you want to carry it around easier. However, it feels more fragile because of it.

First, pay attention to the dimensions of this stone. I assumed it would fit a standard frozen pizza, but it's about the size of personal pizza.I had a pizza stone growing up that we used to make cookies on and assumed this would be the same thing. Once I received this I realized it was nothing like I had when I was younger, this one porous. I went looking for instructions on how to use this one but other than "wash with warm water only and dry" instructions that are printed on the box, there are no other instructions explaining how to use it. I decided to give it a go and put cookie dough on it as is and pop it in the oven. BIG MISTAKE. My cookies cooked but were completely stuck to the stone. It was a nightmare to scrape and clean offWhile it's a nice stone and can handle heat from the oven, without instructions it can't be used for it's intended purpose

It made it to Alaska in one piece so that’s a plus. Seems ti be sturdy. I’m using it in my Coleman camp oven to evenly distribute the heat, works great!
