These shelf brackets are so nice, they are great quality and hold the weight! We actually returned this set due to a change in plans for our counters, but have seen these used in an office and they worked very well and held the weight of a lot of equipment. Which is why we opted to order them in the first place. They would look nice in a home and at the same time work great in an industrial work area!

What are you looking for in a brace? That it is going to be strong and precise. That way there is no flex to your desktop because of a machining variance. These are great. I have 4 of them under an 8' x 24" IKEA countertop. I've had them installed for about 6 months now and they are rock-solid. I like the square cut-outs that let me route cables through. If you want to suspend a desk from the wall and have no legs, these will do it (as long as they are secured to studs of course).

Whether you want to build floating shelves or a floating desk, these are for you. They hold up really well. Solid metal and rated for 1000lbs for each pair. Worth the investment.

These things are awesome. The cable management built in is just an added bonus. I floated an entire island counter with a few of these and that thing is as solid as if it had legs.

Excellent brace. The holes for wiring are a great design. Used 2 of them to hold up a 96" kitchen counter top to make a floating table

If you plan on building a desk with no legs to the wall, this is def the way to go, I was gonna cheap out and go with some goofy solution but luckily chose this instead, got 3 of these holding up my L shape desk that has about 250 lbs on it currently, I can sleep at night knowing this will be able to handle almost any weight I put on the desk.
