You better get it right first time or you will pay dearly to try to get this screw back out. The course spiral at the head which is designed to push the trim board up tight will not allow the screw to come back out, especially if the trim is not securely fastened or you hit OSB, plywood or worse yet air. Also if you don't have your trim securely clamped in place for the first screw the screw wiil place your trim where it wants it. If you can get it right first time the plugs do hide well, until dirt collects around the plug hole and you have dark rings. For what they charge for a hand full of screws this could be a whole lot better.

All you need to complete your project. Good quality Fastener System. Would definitely recommend during reconstruction.

Good concept but conventional anchors work much easier.

These screws are excellent for securing PVC trim- they're self-driving and bury themselves about 1/4 inch beneath the surface with the included driver bit. Tap in the included plugs and you'll have a clean, finished look without visible screws or nail heads. The price is a little eye-watering, but the results are amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that once you drive them in, they're very hard to remove cleanly. They drill/melt their way into the material and sink themselves below the surface, so if you change your mind and want to back them out it's very tricky. You can pull the felt spacer off the drive bit to get ahold of them, but often they've drilled out so much material on the way in that they get gummed up when you try to remove them. If you drive them in and hit another screw that's already there, you may find that you can't drive them in further and can't back them out.Take your time, double-check before you drive them in and make sure your pieces are securely clamped together, and you'll love these fasteners. They really are a pleasure to work with- just remember you generally only get one shot with them.

This system makes your screw holes disappear. You need to have a good power drill to sink them, but if you follow the directions the whiteboard is secured and the holes disappear.
