I have macular degeneration and I need a lot of light in order to read printed material. These wonderfully, cheap, bright lights allow me to read with no trouble at all. I could take them with me anywhere so I can read the menus in a restaurant. They're so inexpensive and you get 20 of them. Outstanding product.

Super bright, comes with a battery installed! I gave one to everyone I know and they all appreciated it as we have had recent power outages.

Awesome little flashlights, not going to light up the neighborhood but when you need a flashlight this is very helpful. I give as gifts and have hanging around my house in case I need. And sometimes I do! I definitely recommend.

Got these to use as stocking stuffers. Great amount of light and a good deal. These are perfect for projects in the dark, hiking, or emergency preparedness.Just a reminder you have to take the plastic sheet out of the end before it can work.

Nice little collection of small flashlights. The variety of colors that come in this pack are sharp. They are very durable and withstand being dropped. The LED light themselves are very bright and batteries are included. Great value for what you get. We use these to fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child at Christmas time! Perfect size for kids. =)

TL;DR: Good items, ~10% failure rate, but batteries and prep make these well worth the money for bulk use - enough so that I'm writing this ahead of buying a second box.So, my use case may be different than other people. I have a small, open 'bookcase' in my office with baskets containing bulk items for the family: phone chargers, cables, mice, etc, - and small flashlights. Basically, if the wife of kids need a common consumable item, they can open my door and grab the item they need out of a basket. In this sense, the failure rate (1 needed different batteries and 2 have a 'sticky' on/off button) for the cost is pretty well negligible. Grab one, check the plastic has been removed from the batteries, give it a test and go.For my use case, these are pretty near ideal. Because of packaging, they'd also be ideal for long-term emergency usage (the batteries have a plastic disk keeping them from making contact for shipping and storage). If you have a need for exactly 20, I'd suggest a box of exactly that many is not ideal, as the sticky buttons are a significant hindrance. Also, one of mine may have come nonfunctional, but as these got conflated with some existing small flashlights, I cannot be certain. Therefore, my recommendation is that these be considered bulk use rather than assigned use.Don't consider this a negative review. As I mentioned above, I'm writing this ahead of getting another box. The packaging allows them to sit idle for a good long time, and that they come with their own batteries reduces the chances of you not having AAAs available when necessary. They are typical of this type of flashlight, so consider these a short-term consumable - but they are priced suitably.Update 2025-05-04: Been a while since the review an my last box, finally need a new one. I wanted to add a note about replacing the batteries: don't cheap out. Costco Kirkland brands burn out very quickly, proper Duracells / Energizers do fine. This is another point in favor of the product - the batteries they ship with are pretty good. Kids leaving the house and thus fewer physical losses make the box last longer :)
