What can I say? The name and image caught my eyes and I had to find out if it was worth my excitement. The product most definitely is and has honestly made my life a lot easier.I primarily play tenor and bass trombone and I move a LOT when I play so a slide grease that is smooth but can hold well is important to me. This meets all of those requirements. My tuning slide has been super smooth since I started using this and has even been good at preventing rust on an old instrument. The only downside to this product is the smell. I have no idea what black magic they used to get such a smooth grease, but clearly said magic doesn't smell great. It isn't an issue for me, but I can see it being a problem for those that play instruments where the tuning slide is not behind your head.Love the name, love the image, love the smoothness, hate the smell.Highly recommended!

Love it! Definitely five stars. There is a little bit of a smell but that is to be expected with any good slide grease. This product is easy to apply & makes my instruments seem brand new. I had tricky slides that kept getting stuck on my trumpet & french horn and this sucker did the trick. My slides feel like they did when I first got the instruments!

Works just as advertised. No reason for less than 5 stars. I don't remember any odor from the product, which I have noticed on other types of tuning slide grease. The slides I have used this grease on have stayed well-lubricated for at least a year of playing, so that's a big plus for it.

This product is superior to petroleum-based products. It has a slight unpleasant odor, but it provides better lubrication than petroleum-based greases. I recommend this for all brass instruments.
