It works fine and moves a good amount of air, but it's kind of loud. I am unlikely to use it much just because of the noise.

Blower did not come with Velcro isolation pads but the foam pads seem to be fine. The blower runs pretty quiet right now.

Received this yesterday and installed it last night. Had a few struggles with installation, but that was just due to my inexperience and the fireplace setup, not anything with this blower. Once I got it going, we've been very happy with how quiet it is. Much quieter than our previous one (even when it was new and installed by a professional). I'm hoping that lasts! My only complaint is that the instructions aren't clear about how to connect the power cord but fortunately someone in here had previously commented on that.

This fan does not run silent but is very quiet. It comes with adhesive foam to help control noise and hold it in place. I am pleased with this product.
