I recently purchased the Feekoon Quiet Smart Register Booster Fan with Thermostat Control (4" x 10") to enhance the airflow from my AC vents, and I couldn’t be more pleased with its performance. Here’s an overview of my experience with this product, touching on noise level, functionality, value for money, size, cooling, and speed.**Noise Level:**One of my primary concerns was the noise level of the fan, especially since I tend to work from home. I am thrilled to report that the Feekoon fan operates quietly, allowing me to concentrate without any distracting sounds. It’s so unobtrusive that I often forget it’s even running!**Functionality:**This booster fan is equipped with a thermostat control, which is a fantastic feature. It automatically turns on when it detects the air temperature change, adjusting seamlessly to my home’s cooling needs. The fan does a remarkable job at effectively boosting airflow from my registers, providing better temperature distribution throughout the room.**Value for Money:**Considering its performance and features, I believe the Feekoon fan offers excellent value for money. It’s reasonably priced compared to similar products on the market, and the difference in air circulation has made a noticeable impact. I feel confident in my investment, knowing that it will help keep my home comfortable during the hot months.**Size:**The compact size of 4" x 10" makes it easy to fit into most standard-sized vents, and it doesn’t take up much space. Installation was a breeze; I simply had to remove the vent cover and replace it with this fan. It blends neatly with my decor, so it doesn’t stand out awkwardly.**Cooling:**I have noticed a significant improvement in cooling efficiency since installing the Feekoon fan. It effectively circulates the cold air, making my living space much more comfortable during peak summer heat. The improvement in air distribution means that no corners of the room are left stifling and muggy.**Speed:**The fan operates at a commendable speed, providing a consistent and strong airflow. It quickly revs up to the desired speed, instantly enhancing ventilation and keeping the air cool. I appreciate that I can adjust the speed settings based on my needs, giving me complete control over my cooling experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Feekoon Quiet Smart Register Booster Fan to anyone looking to improve their home's air circulation. Its quiet operation, impressive functionality, and affordable price point make it a standout product. If you’re looking to enhance your cooling system, this fan is definitely worth considering!

Quiet but not quiet. It can be heard through the ducting but in the room it’s a quiet fan noise. Does help to cool or heat a room.

My room is the farthest away from the ac unit so it was always hot in there. This little contraption works pretty well for me, I have it set on max air speed and the noise level is less than some pc fans I've had in the past. The only thing that may seem a little counter intuitive is when you set the temperature probe, set it to around 60ish degrees. The unit kicks on when it senses cold air coming through the air vent and shuts off when the air temp rises above your set level.

I have two registers high on the wall of my bedroom. The bedroom is at the end of the run furthest from the heat pump, and it's on the lowest level so the heat pump struggles to get hot air flowing to the bedroom. I bought one of these to test it and noticed an immediate improvement. It snugly fits a 4x10 opening and even one of these operating on moderate fan settings at the furthest register location significantly improved hot air flow into the room. I like it so much I've already ordered a second one for the other register.Read the directions carefully. You set it to boost heat or cold depending on what you need it to boost. I don't think you can set both at the same time. For example to boost heat, install it, turn the thermo in the unit on, and let your heating system run for a few minutes so the unit can see what temperature it senses in the vent. Then set the unit to turn the fans on at a temp a few degrees lower. That lets the unit identify when your heating system is on, so it knows to turn the fans on to boost the flow. When the heat turns off and he temp falls, it will then turn the fans off. Do the reverse if you need the fans to boost the AC flow although be aware that because cold air sinks and hot air rises you may not need the unit to do both in the same room. The unit is about the size of the latest large desktop computer graphics card and the fans are similar in size. You can adjust the fan speed from 1 to 10 depending on how much air flow you need to boost and your tolerance for noise. I didn't check the noise at 10. I'm running mine on 5 with very good air flow results even mounted in the far register. It isn't particularly loud. My bedroom is mid-size and the unit is on the other side of the room. I can hear it but it's no worse than an ordinary fan. At 5 it is somewhat quieter than most heater fans unless you are really close to it. I slept just fine with it running. You can also easily turn it down if its noise is unacceptable. It's very quiet at 4 and you can't really hear it across the room at all on 3.
