Great tool for any videographer! It's always hard to truly tell if the peaking is truly hitting your subject on a small LCD -- this will catch it! Also, FX30 does not allow desqueeze for anamorphic without Cine EI, so this allows me to desqueeze on any codec!

Was expecting to use this daily for the next two months on a film project but that was postponed until 2023. I did mount the Feelworld monitor on my rig, played with it a few hours, then put it in storage until the next project. Can't really comment on its pros and cons except to say, the limited time with it was positive.

I needed a monitor that could keep up with the frame rates of my Nikon Z6II so I can easily see my framing and focus on a gimbal. This is the only monitor that fit the bill, and it WORKS at all frame rates. This is outstanding, as most of what I film is at 24fps, so having the monitor work at 60 fps means I can see everything I'm shooting so I know what I have to slow down in post. I highly recommend this to anyone who shoots above 30 fps, even if only occasionally.

The reason why I bought this monitor was because I record in 4K and 60 FPS and this monitor supports that, however the brightness is just not enough for outdoors, the provided hood helps to a degree though, for indoors is just great! I wish Feelworld would make a monitor that supports 4K 60HZ with better brightness. For my line of work i"m satisfy with it.

Earlier this year I reviewed a Feelworld monitor that was physically near identical to this F7 PRO-7 model. However, of interest and curiousity to me was the much lower ‘brightness’ level of this PRO-7 model versus my Feelworld LUT7-7. The screen is about 25% max' brightness compared to my earlier LUT7-7 inch that I’ve reviewed and have used for several months.Essentially, both the older Feelworld LUT7 and this recently received Feelworld monitor have nearly the same utilities that I use. But again, and with the most important feature for a small, field-mobile on-camera monitor, the maximum brightness level of this F7 Pro-7 is only 500nits, versus the earlier model monitor I have been using, which has a maximum brightness level of 2200nits. So if ‘brightness’, especially when outdoors in sunlight, is of importance to you than this is a very important point.ABOUT SCREEN BRIGHTNESS…In my opinion, the absolute most important feature of a field monitor is its screen brightness. You want an ultra-bright screen to overcome outdoor clear-sky sunny days. And for months after reviewing the LUT7-7” with the Ultra Bright screen, I learned quickly how a 7 inch screen at an 8-ft distance could be hard to see if not on full brightness. And if in studio, and if forward facing on your camera but 8 feet from you, seeing details will typically only be viewable if the monitor is on a higher or max’ setting. And that’s where the F7 Pro-7 had issues. It’s indoor or outdoor use is more limited to on-camera in shaded areas, or on or near my desk-recording area.HISTOGRAM DISPLAYS…I’m not color-analyzing my photo or video work at this time. It’s just not an issue. If I were, I could get histogram charting from either model monitor.BEST WAY TO POWER UP…At first, I was using the NP-F970 battery to run my LUT7. But I found the monitor, especially on high power, would drain its single battery rapidly. I reverted to the plug-in power supply, which allowed me to forget attending to the battery and to get on with my recording work. In the field and if necessary for longer sessions, I have compact battery powered inverters to run my lighting and accessories on their 110-120VAC power supplies.SUMMARY: After using the LUT7 high bright model monitor in, on and around my A6400, I realized that for in-studio type recordings, I removed my 7” monitor and opted to use one of my 23-plus” (diagonal) monitors that’s mounted on a modified light stand directly behind-above my camera. At a distance of about 8 ft., I have no problem checking framing and focus while recording. The Feelworld monitors are now truly outdoor augmentation accessories and also mountable on my recording desk or atop a camera indoors and up close. But rating this F7 Pro-7, and with it only being $30 less costly than my LUT-7, I can’t see the logic in purchasing the F7, given the brightness issue.

Great product for the value. I just need to get used to it. I definitely recommend this screen.
