ECObulb Plus Energy Saving Compact Fluorescent Lamps are Greener than Standard CFLs, They have been thoroughly engineered to contain lower amounts of Mercury, Lead Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium and Polybrominated biphenyls than both RoHs(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and Energy Star standards allow. There is a vast difference in the overall design of the ECObulb PLUS CFLs versus standard CFLs. The composition of the base plastic,the formulation of the glass,the solder points inside the bulb and all of nearly 50 components have been carefully tested to miimize hazardous materials. I bought and installed four dozen of these bulbs in landscape light fixtures for a condo complex. I write the date of installation on the bulb when I install them so I know how long they last. Historically, these types of bulbs last about 3 or 4 years. Many of these Feit bulbs did not work at all and many lasted for only a few months. The price was attractive, but the performance was not.

I replaced every bulb in my house and office with these "Twisty" fluorescent bulbs because they emit a white light which allows me to see better

Love this type! Been looking and cannot find in any store. Tried LED'S which they are highly pushing us all to buy and say they are more energy efficient and last two years. Mine burned out in a couple months or started to flicker. I will stick with this type, always loved them and found them to last a very long time! Don't know if this brand will last that long or as to the efficiency, but we shall see.

These bulbs have been superceded by LED bulbs. These cost a fraction of LED bulbs and fit in several of the fixtures in my laundry and storage areas. They are 13 Watts which is equivalent to 60 watt. At a couple of bucks apiece, they are a bargain.
