Good pickup. No hum. Mine came in a bag not a box so I know it was used. But it sounds fine to me. Read fine print from seller to be sure of what you’re getting

Fender noiseless pickups are quiet, yet kill some high end. I put it in my Bronco Bass to reduce electromagnetic and radio noise. AN improvement over the stock Bronco Bass pickup. No matter that this is a guitar pickup- it provides string balance over all bass strings. I've tried these pickups on a strat, and prefer a regular wound pickup sound, too much high and genuine Strat chime killed by the noiseless pickup. But good for a bass.

Got this mic and it fits ok but the output level seems a little bit off, its too low, im changing this for a dimarzio chopper.

I've been playing guitar for around 44 years and have used a lot of different kinds of pickups in my guitars during that time, and a lot of them sound great, but for a pickup that still actually sounds like a Stratocaster without that 60 cycle hum these Vintage Noiseless pickups are hard to beat!!! I use them in my main stage USA American Standard Custom and a few of my other Strats, except my original vintage ones, and THEY ARE JUST AS LOUD as any Duncan's,Lace's,or ANY OTHER KIND I've used or heard! If they are good enough for Jeff Beck they are sure as hell are good enough for me, Jeff Bissette!!! Sure there are other pickups you can get that don't have the 60 cycle hum, BUT THEY STOP SOUNDING LIKE A STRATOCASTER IS SUPPOSED TO SOUND!!! The BEST and FIRST thing I usually do to a Strat is to reverse the slant of the bridge pickup, and again...except for my vintage original ones which stay like they were when they came out of the Fender factory! BUY AND USE THE VINTAGE NOISELESS PICKUPS...YOU WON'T REGRET IT IF YOU'RE A STRAT PLAYER AND FAN!

Summary: I think these pickups sound okay, but they're nothing special. Compared to other pickups (such as ones made by Lace, Kinman, or Seymour Duncan), I think these sound rather weak and muted. Their only saving grace is that they are noiseless, but if you want a noiseless pickup, I would not recommend these. In my opinion, better choices would be Kinman or Lace Sensor pickups.Longer explanation:In 2005, I bought a Fender Standard Fat Stratocaster, which has a Seymour Duncan humbucker at the bridge and also originally had Seymour Duncan single-coil pickups in the middle and neck positions. I decided to replace the Seymour Duncan single-coils because I didn't like the buzz coming from them when used alone. I originally decided to put 2 of these Fender Noiseless pickups in my guitar, and I was not impressed. Compared to other pickups (such as Lace Sensors, Kinman, and Seymour Dunacn), I thought the Fender Noiseless pickups sounded particularly weak, and in particular, the combination of the middle Fender Noiseless with the Seymour Duncan humbucker at the bridge sounded very muted and overall bad. I ended up replacing the middle and neck pickups again (with Kinman AVn-56 pickups) and have not looked back.
