I have a budget priced Epiphone LP with a dead bridge pickup, so replaced with these...Nice low priced pickups with a good sound, these humbuckers are microphonic, so if you go too crazy with gain, and are close to the amp, you get lots of feedback. So heads up! Not comparable to original Epiphone or Gibson pickups, installed into a90s Les Paul 100 korea

These pickups are surprisingly balanced and they come with solder already on the wire tips. Not crazy hot or anything, just plain Jane. Good for blues and cleans. Prefer EMGs or Duncan's for metal but these are 1/10 the price.

For the price, these pick ups are the perfect replacement for the factory humbuckers in my inexpensive guitar.

Cheap Pickups, Work and sound really good. Expected middle of the road sound, but in a lower end build, they're perfect.

I use these on my Ibanez that's tuned to drop D and usually have heavy distortion going, which they are great for. Clean tone is pretty good too for the little bit I've played effects.

This is great value for dummy coils, you get 4 of them with 5.9K to 6.1K DC ohms (which pairs good with Strat style pickups), non glued on magnet, steel studs and you don't have to trim the outside to make it more compact like you would with single coil pickups.I was hoping one of the bridge coils would be wound closer to 7k which would work well with '52 tele pickups, but 6.1k is close enough.

One pickup works great but the other one does not work at all!

I bought these pickups to replace the standard ones on a Harley Benton CST-24T. I bought this guitar for only $219 new in a beautiful emerald green and figured it would be a project guitar. The original pickups were ok, but I decided to put this pair (zebra) in because of a prior review that compared them to a SD SH4 style. Let me tell you that these are exceptional pickups, and for the price I just can’t believe the sound! I was asked recently to play for a block party, I play mostly classic rock, and I received many compliments on the sound. Wow! I own some high end gear including Gibson Les Pauls (one with the SD,s), Strats, a tele, a jag, and a double cut. Been playing over 30 years. And I can tell you that this set of pickups is such a good deal I just had to write a review. Not bad at all clean, they coil split, and the bridge pickup sounds amazing with overdrive. Highly recommended.

I'm Mr.Tom, I write and record commercially licensed music (under PRO: BMI, Inc) since 1984. I play many instruments and there are a few things you need to know about these pickups. These pickups were not marked as Neck and Bridge, they "should be" as not everyone has a multi-meter to test the ohms value. It seems I made the correct choice in the neck and bridge.. just luck. The other thing to know, is that the wiring is shielding and green wires that are twisted is "ground". Unless you are doing "coil splitting", just tape off the wire and red wires that are twisted together. The "BLACK" single wire is "positive" NOT ground as usually the case.Other then those things to be aware of above, the pickups really do sound FANTASTIC! If you think they looks like "sh-4's" you are correct and they "sound" like them! My 2 cents. - Mr.Tom
