I put this pick up on my Fender Mahogany guitar and I couldn't be happier with it. The Mesquite produces a crisp clear full sound for me. For the record, I am playing through a Fender acoustasonic amplifier.

Nice sounding and nice looking pickup.Only issue I had was that the cable connection was very loose in the pickup. I solved this by applying a dot of hot melt glue to keep in.

同梱されているのは英文マニュアルのみで、公式サイトにも情報は少ない。ちなみにmade in korea本体の直流抵抗は、実測したところ1.8kΩで公称値通り。シングルコイルと比較しても、かなり小さい出力。サウンドホールの対応状況は、取り付けネジの間隔は約84ミリで、ネジの太さを考慮して90ミリ近くあったほうが安全。ただし95ミリ以下であると、ネジを外さないと入らない可能性がある。ピックアップ本体は黒い樹脂でモールディングされており中身は見えない。上部には電子基板のような材質のものにポールピースが付いている。写真で見るほどの木目のような質感はなく、アコースティックな雰囲気でもない。エンドピンジャックはモントレータイプで、ミニプラグで本体に取り付ける方式。シングルサイズのハムバッカーであまり期待はしていなかったが、それにしても内部ノイズが大きく、外来ノイズにも弱い。弦アース加工しても気休めで、DIを通しても残るため仕方なくローパスフィルターで高音をカットして使っている。ブロンズ弦を考慮して設計したとのことだが、プレーン弦の感度が高く特に2弦がキンキンする。調べてみると1弦の感度が不安定で、そう聞こえているようだった。ポールピースで高さ調節しても変化がみられない。とりあえずスラストマウントにして、高音側を内側寄りに調整することで、少しマシになった気がする。以上でノイズは消えたが、高音をカットしたため冴えない音になってしまった。やはりパッシブのためプリアンプが必要なのか？たしかフェンダーの公式HPの動画では、Accoustic.Jrとかいうアンプにアン直だった気がするが、、、。

Quite the nice pickup. Installed it in my Blueridge and wasn't expecting much, but I like it better than my L.R. Baggs.
