Other features include vintage tuners, Hipshot® Bass Xtender drop-D tuner on the E string, and three-way pickguard switch that controls an American Series Precision Bass neck pickup and a Tony Franklin signature Jazz Bass® bridge pickup with hex-screw lugs and ceramic bar magnets.

Purchased as a gift for my son. He loves it. The pickups are significantly more sensitive than his 80's jazz bass. Also said the tonal quality is exceptionally better as well. Very happy with it.

Best feeling bass ever! Im sort of new to fretless but this bass kicks butt! I own about 10 other fender basses and while the look and feel of this are spectacular, the sound from these particular set of pick ups is phenomenal. Some folks will warn you off of fretless basses without the fret lines, but im really glad i didnt listen to that advice. With a little practice you can find your way around this neck pretty quickly. If you are looking for a bass that stands out in a crowd, AND sound fantastic...this is the one!

sent it back...the "Drop D" switch didn't operate correctly
