Bought these a while back for a conversion on a Schwinn to use Shimano Hollowtech II. These cups installed easily into the shell but when I threaded in the Hollowtech bottom bracket, I noticed there isn’t a recess in the cups so that the bb sits at the correct 68mm width. The width ended up at 71.5mm which doesn’t work with road Hollowtech II cranksets. I have a Claris 8 speed groupset for this bike. Looks like I will have to order a different conversion.Make sure to inspect/test fit your parts right away.

this product is used to convert a bike with an ashtabula crank (one piece) to be able to use a three piece crank, it was easy to install, it is good to measure twice to make sure it will fit together correctly. that said most bikes that have an ashtabula crank are not high quality frames (except BMX frames),if you do have have installed a bottom bracket / cranks , this will not pose any issue

Worked perfectly for my Schwinn fixie conversion. Bought the 1/8 Kit and needed to convert to English threaded BB. The best part about this adapter is they already beveled the inserts to clear the change in width of the old BB housings. Nice work! And it made for easy work for me!

Works perfectly on my prewar rollfast frame. Was able to install a Shimano Hollowtech 2 bottom bracket
