Kompass:Der Kompass richtet sich langsam nach Norden aus, ist aber sehr störungsanfällig. Man muss, wie bei jedem Kompass aufpassen das keine Metallischen Gegenstände in der Nähe sind, wie zum Beispiel die metallische Reibe (Striker). Für eine Grobe richtungsangabe ist er zu gebrauchen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.Eine Mini Luftblase ist im Kompass. Ich bezweifle das das Absicht ist aber so kann man diese gleich als "wasserwaage" nehmen und schauen ob man den Kompass grade hält. Ich hoffe das er dicht bleibt und keine weitere Luft eindringt.Verarbeitung:Die Verarbeitung ist ok. Das Gewinde ist gut geschnitten, die schwarze Beschichtung ist ok, der Kompass ist sauber eingelassen. Verbesserungswürdig ist der Grad an den Bohrungen und eine scharfe Kante an der Reibe (Striker). Gemeint ist natürlich nicht die Fläche an der der Feuerstahl gerieben wird, sondern die Seite mit den mm Angaben. Diese Seite ist ab 20mm so scharf, dass man sie auch zum Funken erzeugen verwenden kann.Auch hier würde ich sagen, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist ok.Feuerstahl:Der Feuerstahl funktioniert mit dem mitgelieferten Striker zuverlässig. Mit dem richtigen Zunder kann man mit wenigen Zündungen ein Feuer starten.Das Material ist nicht zu hart, so dass man auch mit "relativ wenig" Kraft Funken erzeugen kann. Dementsprechend sind die Funken aber auch kleiner und verglühen schneller als bei Feuerstählen mit einer anderen Zusammensetzung, bei denen man mit einem höheren Kraftaufwand größere Stücken vom Feuerstahl scharben muss.Fazit:Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Man bekommt für einen vernünftigen Preis einen Feuerstahl, Kompass und einen gut funktionierenden Striker mit 5cm "Linial" und Kartenmaßstabsangabe und einem Flaschenöffner. Als Notfallartikel für den Rucksack ist dieses Set zu empfehlen. ( Man sollte logischerweise aber Übung haben, ansonsten nützt auch der beste Feuerstahl nichts ;-) )5 von 5 Sternen, ich hatte zwar überlegt 4 zu geben aber nur wegen einer scharfen Kante und einem leichten Grad finde ich einen Stern Abzug für einen solchen Artikel übertrieben.
