The Fette Filter C Humidifier Wicking Replacement 6-pack filters are sold at a good price and have worked well with my Honeywell humidifier during the last two years. I found the filter installation to be fairly easy as long as you remember to lightly dampen the filter before installing it. For me, evaporative humidifiers with filters are much better than ultrasonic humidifiers because they don't require frequent cleaning. To keep down mold, I use one to two bottle caps of inexpensive Hydrogen Peroxide per tank filling.

I had 2 humidifiers without filters and they got black mold very quickly. My old one with a filter did not so I trashed them and went back to a model using filters. Discarded my old one because after several years, I could not clean the fan.

These are a universal filter for many different styles. I have a Honeywell humidifier. It fits perfect on the ring and you just close the lid. Change every few months when starts getting brown. This was the least expensive of the options and the exact same thing as the higher priced other options. I will order these for years to come. Highly recommend!

Work exactly how they should! ALL filters get bad eventually! You need to understand that... Depending how you take care of them and your type of water. I have a osmosis system in my home. Which I use the water from that. Makes the filters last longer using better water. These actually outlasted the new blue Honeywell Filters. I hate those ones. The original style was better. Which this is like the original. The New blue ones go bad very fast.These work/do exactly what they should and last a bit longer. Very pleased with them.Place something in water and if you don’t let it dry out ever. What you think is going to happen? Mold/bacteria, That’s normal....A filter isn’t going to be some magic maker and magically prevent mold/bacteria forever from growing if you leave it wet 24/7 people. They ALL need replaced eventually!!

I use this filter for a Honeywell HCM-890b humidifier. The fit isn't *perfect*, but it's really close. It fits much better than the other non-Honeywell brand filter I've used the last few years and is cheaper than the brand name. I would continue using this brand in the future.

These filters fit fine in my Honeywell Humidifier, that I use in my bedroom. It is important to get the right size filter (go by the letter). I often find problems finding filters in the stores and these fit very well. It is important to follow the directions, to turn the filter over, each time you fill the reservoir with fresh water....adds to the life of the filter.
