Somehow, these seem to be just a smidge thicker than the previous one, at the collar. So when I put them in, the handle almost doesn't close. I think it is closed, but maybe not.

Amazon kept nagging so I finally took one out to test it. Fit and worked right in my model HNVC215B10. Didn't discern any difference in performance. Decided to wash the original filter for the first time too, after. It does come clean easily just with a hot water rinse and a bit of a rub with the thumb, but I see now why they'll need replacing: some balls of fluff (from throw rugs or blankets) got tangled up in the very fine threads of the filter, and had to be cut; so after a few such cleanings, it'll probably start getting frayed. (So now I think I *won't* clean them until they become clogged by accidentally vacuuming something wet, to prolong their life.)
