This is the longest rod this heavy they have. It's new so the price I think is a little high but hopefully it will come down. Good rod. Heavy and sturdy with very solid rollers.

thick and well built. this arrives in two pieces the handle and the rod. it is very sturdy and holds up to bending. now i just need a good trolling reel.

Impressively beefy deep sea rod. For hauling up the bigguns' for sure! Flexing the rod, I did hear lots of crackling sounds, just the epoxy/resins from the eyes cracking a little. I get that this has to happen, but it's a bit unnerving.Roller guides are of high quality stainless.As a two piece, the butt separates from the main rod, like the old tuna rods. That'd suggest some interchange ability if you wanted different tips. The butt end has a nice cork handle, but the tip has an EVA foam handle--like these two pieces were not built for each other, but they do work/function.I've got several Fiblink rods and have been pretty happy with them all. I expect this one to be no different!
