It took two of us about an hour to get this installed correctly, but once it was done—totally worth it! We love our Solo Stove, and this heat deflector really enhances the experience. I was initially worried it might dim the firelight or take away from the vibe, but not at all. The flame still looks great, and now everyone sitting around the fire gets way more warmth. We've found ourselves staying out longer and enjoying the fire even more. Great quality and a fantastic upgrade. Highly recommend!

This works very well in deflecting lost heat toward anyone sitting around the gas firepit. I was on the fence about spending big money on the main name brand and I'm glad I didn't. This does the job and seems to be solid.

Works as advertised! Installation was a bit tricky for me having not used anything similar, but it certainly does its purpose to help keep the heat directed where you need it. Great value for the price considering the cost of the brand name ones in comparison. The quality seems to be solid. We’ll look forward to using this more as the season progresses!

We got this heat deflector for our Solo Stove Ranger, and it's been a great addition. The name-brand version was just way too expensive, so we took a chance on this one—and it totally paid off. It does a great job of capturing and redirecting the heat outward, making the area around the fire much warmer than it would be without it.Assembly took about 30 minutes because there are a lot of small screws. It’s not complicated, just a bit time-consuming and fiddly, which is why I’m knocking off one star. That said, once it’s all put together, it’s solid and looks great with the Ranger. The amount of heat it puts off is impressive—it really makes sitting around the fire much more comfortable, especially on chilly nights. All in all, it’s a great deal for the price. If you have a Solo Stove Ranger and want better heat distribution without breaking the bank, this is definitely worth picking up.

This is a great value to the alternative heat dispersers out there. This took about 20 minutes to put together; it comes in a bunch of pieces but it ends up working out great. When you put the 100 (I’m exaggerating) screws into the metal shield and get it together, It really does its job. I allows the Solo Stove to stay smokeless, but disperses the heat horizontally and evenly while the fire is burning. The nice part just rests on top of the Solo Stove, comes off easily, but matches the decor and looks like it came with the set. Wife loves it so I am happy!

I got this to put on a stove I bought on Amazon for about $100, which I highly recommend, but regarding this heat diffuser, I can't believe how much it causes the heat to spread out rather than just straight up. I lit the fire and let it get going, and we stood around it to feel the heat. Then I put this on and there was an immediate and noticable difference in the heat distribution. It was definitely warmer and the fire as the heat spread out evenly. It does have a number of screws but went together easily and pretty quickly, just follow the instructions. It doesn't easily collapse but you can remove the legs by unscrewing them in just a few minutes if you're going to take it camping or on a trip somewhere. It comes with a couple of handles to pick it up if it's hot. When installing it on the stove, the legs have to spread out a little and the fire is hot, so USE GLOVES or you will burn your hands trying to get this on properly. This has a two tiered diffuser, unlike other models I've seen, that just have the one half (lower half) of the center part, and I'm not sure what the difference is but I'm sure that it increases the rigidity a bit and seems like a nice feature.I've seen others advertised that said you could put a pot on the top and cook, and I suppose you could with this one also but didn't try that.Built well and sturdy, this is a great item. It does cost within about $20 of the price I paid for my off-brand stove, also on Amazon, but honestly for a campfire on a chilly night, this thing is great and probably worth that price.

Anyone remember Erector sets? I understand trying to make things smaller for shipping, but they could have made the round piece a solid piece of metal and just shipped in a little larger box. Get ready to use a ton a small screws. Took about half hour to put together. Looks cool though. Legs are a little thin. Seems to work somewhat. Not sure how much heat output it’s increasing though
