I’ve had problems with my Ride Rite twice. They fixed it once, the second time they said they would not fix it or upgrade to the newest system. That’s what they told my mechanic. I will never suggest their product to anybody. I’m a business owner and I fix things for free, because I stand behind my product & workmanship.

Added this to a 2008 4runner, very pleased with the results. Was able to install easily without dropping springs and recommend if you are wanting to slightly raise the rear suspension or level it out from increased weight.Less than 1/2 the price of rear spring replacements, hope they hold up for the long term.

Different than what I thought. The bag doesn’t hold weight, it just inflates inside the spring to keep it from compressing.

With these air bags, I can have a nice ride when we are just cruising around town, and I can load up the 4Runner and tow our trailer while camping. The install is pretty straight forward. The most difficult part is finding where you are going to mount the valves. I made a bracket which uses an existing bumper bolt. No drilling whatsoever.***A quick note about using a T connector on the airlines. A lot of people do this so that they only have one valve to fill. The air goes to both sides evenly. But look...if you go around a left hand corner, the body rolls to the right. This pushes down on the right side air bag. If you have a T installed, the air is pushed out of the right side bag and it goes into the left side air bag, pushing up on the left. This makes body roll to the right even more and is really unsafe...especially in a panic situation. Don’t do it!! With two independent air bags, the body rolls a predictable amount...both of my vehicles are set up this way and they handle fantastic! Firestone does not include this T for a reason!

3 years and no problems. I have these on my wife's as well as my own 4runner and love them on both vehicles. Handles the heavy loads and my high tongue weight trailers with easy, making travel much safer. Easy to install if you watch the YouTube video on how to install FIRST :) .Good stuff, money well spent.

I installed these in my 2006 Toyota 4Runner because I tow a 3800# camper about once a month and past experience taught me these help make the road trips more comfortable. It took me half a day to get the kit fully installed but having owned an Airlift 1000 kit on a previous vehicle I can say I am much happier with the fittings on this kit. Push the hose into the fitting as deep as it will go and then pull firmly and done. No leaks and that is a big deal. I do wish there was an included T connector so I didn't have to run two separate valves but that is just a preference and barely worth complaining about. Bags are nice and thick material, hose is more than long enough with extra to spare, and everything necessary was included in the kit.My first trip out loaded up with the family I had only 10 PSI per bag because there was no sag in the suspension and I figured I didn't need the kit until we got about halfway to our destination. You could feel the road's imperfections clearly so I pulled over and aired the bags up to 20 PSI (30 PSI max) and that made all the difference. I keep it at 10 PSI for unloaded driving because it isn't recommended to deflate the bags and at this pressure they have plenty of wiggle room in the coils but when it comes time for hooking up the camper it takes me all of 1 minute to inflate both bags to 20 PSI and tow off on another adventure in comfort. No, this kit does not add a lift, increase the max towing capacity of your vehicle, or replace the need for a weight distribution hitch. It does allow you to reduce rear sag so you can ride more comfortably and safely though and believe me for the price of this kit it was money well spent so I don't have a grouchy spouse and child to contend with when going camping.

Nothing wrong with these, but not the best for my application. I had air lift bags on my stock 4Runner before I upgraded to toytec super flex coils in the rear. The gauge of the spring wire is larger (ok maybe gauge is lower, but the wires are thicker) so the old springs didn't fit anymore. I contacted toytec, and they recommended this kit, but the air bags are probably a little too small od for this spring application. They needed 10psi before the bag fit snugly within the coil. They are holding 20psi with no problems. The bags themselves appear well made, and I like that the bags have push to connect fittings as opposed to the air lift bags I used to have which used barbed fittings.
