This mount is quality all around and equal to the much more expensive RAM mounts. I’ve been using RAM mounts on motorcycles and boats for over a decade and this could stand shoulder to shoulder with the much pricier name brand version. It’s made with high quality materials and is manufactured with high precision techniques. Once I lock it down it doesn’t budge at all, even with a lot of weight on it. No complaints, and I highly recommend it.

Great quality material. Base is a rugged hard plastic, ball joints hard rubber, and main part is metal. Will be installing it for a Garmin fish finder.

This gps ball mount looks sturdy and everything works. Note that the mounting plate and balls are plastic, which is not necessarily a bad thing for a marine mount. The mounting plate is quite sturdy and I have no worries about it breaking. It also makes for easy drilling of new holes if necessary.

Big heavy duty and strong. 1.5" balls are beefy and this mount is equally as heavy duty. The plate has a bunch of holes so I'm sure it can fit an assortment of fish finders. It comes with a T track mount for kayaks or boats. I have no complaints. Great mount. I would recommend.

I am amazed at the quality of this fish finder mount and how heavy duty it is. It definetly has some weight to it so you will need to mount this to a solid base. It has a T-Bolt style track ball base that will connect to any track mount and is removable from the main stand. The main stand has a strong tension spring that can be loosened or tightened via the large hand knob on the side. This tension controls the adjustment of both ends of the mount for easy adjustment of the angle you need the fish finder at for easy viewing of your fish finder. The entire mount is made from heavy duty durable ABS material and the track ball on each end has a rubber coating on them for a secure grip to the mount pole. This product does have some weight to it so it will need mounted to a solid surface and not the flimsy side of a kayak. There are numerous hole designs on the top plate for fitting a wide variety of fish finders, and there is stainless steel hardware included to secure your device to the top plate. The T-bolt on the bottom is very easy to quicky install to a track mount plate by twisting it on until it tightens. The height of this product is 8 3/4" from the base to the top plate at a horizontal level which is a great height so the fish finder will not be in the way of other things. Overall, based upon the great quality, design, features and sturdiness of this product I highly recommend it to other boating anglers who need a reliable and secure way to mount a fish finder to their watercraft.

This is exactly what I needed and so far so good. The quality seems well made. I use it on my kayak for fishing and crabbing. It's compatible with my Lowrance fish finder and had held up well to the abuse of me knocking it, hitting it with my legs, etc. No complaints at all..
