This is good. Not as soft as it's marketed as, though. It gets the job done. I'd prefer if maybe it were a little slicker or thinner.

I purchased this lanyard to take with me on cruises to keep my ship I.D. card handy. It comes in so many pretty colors that it was hard for me to decide! I finally chose the lavender because it will look fine with most of my shirts and is a really lovely shade. I like the braided material which looks much more substantial than just a ribbon. The braid is very attractive to the eye and also doesn't wrinkle up the way ribbon lanyards do but lays flat. I'm also impressed that the part the I.D. card hangs from is real leather, not faux leather or vinyl. That gives it a very nice "quality" appearance.In short, this was a good purchase. I can highly recommend!

I was so fixated on “The Starry Night” (van Gogh) that I didn’t see the word stretchy. When I was taking the photo as it is out of the Amazon box, then to get the measurement for the length I pulled, it to straighten it … and wow! Surprise! Like a rubber band! See photos. That loop is 18” at rest and stretches easily to 33”, and up to 37”. But I’d be afraid of repetitive damage, pulling it out too much.Perhaps you want a lanyard that doesn’t hang down too far. With a badge perhaps this 18” loop will reach your navel or waist, depending on height. But with the elastic, it will probably reach out to full arm’s length for scanning. A best of both worlds. The question I can’t answer is: How will this elastic hold up after 4-8 max stretches per day? At this price, who cares! Buy two!For me, all the other 16 color selections were mundane, since my 2 favorites weren’t there. Ha! But I do love the starry nights!Tip: Consider attaching to both the permanent ring and the snap open ring.The 5 star review for the starry night color lanyard.And for the obscure: I have to consider high heat damage also. Living in SwUSA, interior vehicle temperatures can reach 180 degrees. (Article UT Dallas Magazine, 2018.) Elastic does not do well in heat.TPinSwUSA Vine Voice rating scale:★ Well below expectations. This black stretchy lanyard is a great upgrade! Its elasticity makes reaching scanners effortless while staying comfortable around the neck. The sturdy hook keeps my ID securely in place. At first, I wasn’t sure about the braided design, but it’s actually sleek and understated—not bulky or flashy. It’s also wonderfully versatile, perfect for badges, USB drives, or keys without adding extra weight.

Really well-made lanyard. Stretchy, soft, and long. I’m 6’4” and it hits about 5-6” above my belly button. It’s perfect for the Plaud Note AI pin.I wore it for 3 days at a conference and never once felt like it was digging into my neck. In fact, I forgot it was there most of the time!For an inexpensive item, it delivered. The multiple attachments were a bonus.
