Does it cut. YesCan it hold fish to remove hooks. YesCan it grip mono or braid to cinch. Not in my experience glad I didn’t have to use these to knot hooks. Main purpose buying was to tie mono to braid. And it slipsevery other feature through I loved

I purchased this fishing pliers because I have trouble to cut my bread line. It said it made of stainless steel. I do salt water fishing and with the price you pay, this is a good product. Just remember, after you use it raise off the salt water and dry it out.

They are small and useful pliers. These may be too small to handle easily if you have large hands, but they work for me.

The larger pliers had an issue with the line snippers, they're ever slightly apart and had some issues cutting braid unless they were completely at the front of the area used to cut line. The knives which are part of the handle were both relatively dull (serrated and straight) and needed a few moments on a diamond stone to be sharp enough to use.The smaller pliers have an issue with the latch keeping them closed: It was a SOB to get cliped, and then under the slightest pressure or movement they would come un-latched.These are budget pliers. I intend to use them until I need to replace them, and will buy a better quality set. They'd be a great gift for a younger fisherman or someone on a tighter budget
