I bought this because I have to transport a cutting mat for quilt guild activities and it replaced a standard flat mat that had become warped. This is perfect! When folded its's only 12" wide and can be easily slipped under a bed. I like that it's a full size mat. When it's unfolded there is no distinction where the folds are so you get a clean cut each time. My only complaint is the color as I find it harder to see to make cuts, so a pink or lime green instead of the gray would be better.

I have enjoyed the large surface available for cutting but have also found it wonderful to fold it up and use it as a smaller mat for doing quilt piecing etc. the only minor problem I’ve had is when it’s fully open, you can at times feel the fold bumps as you cut over them. I have learned to anticipate them and that helps keep my cutting steady.

I needed a larger mat that can fold and be stored. The mat is fine. I am not a huge fan of the area where the mat folds. You need to have your rotary cutter go past this area twice to be sure that the cut is complete.

Love this LARGE, portable cutting mat! Made a handled bag to put it in when going to class or retreat, otherwise, it sits out on my sewing table full-time. Great upgrade from my 12”x18” mat!!

I have a small cutting table and this folding mat fits It beautifully. The fact that it folds nicely makes it easy to store. This mat is durable, sturdy, and doesn’t shift when cutting. Handles a rotary cutter with ease.
