It tracks your steps through arm movement and does it very well I put on a step counter and they were very close in steps the added thing to remember is that this also is tracking your overall movement for fitness so the more you move and walk the more steps you will receive. The sleeping time part of the unit is like all the other ones I have tried its a hit and miss so just use it as a reference on your sleeping habits.

My son wanted a fitness watch to track his steps and he loves his new Fitbit Ace 2 the moment it arrived. I bought the Fitbit Ace 3 first but his stopped working just after 2 days and Fitbit told me they can not do anything since I did not purchase the warranty. However, I am very happy with this one as its functional after wearing it daily for a month. I recommend Ace 2 instead of Ace 3 for any kid who loves to stay active. Also, the best thing about this watch is that it doesn't have any games or activities that can distract a child form its real purpose. It does have an alarm and stop watch which is helpful.

I have a Fitbit and my son wanted one of his own. We have had an awesome experience with this so far. He has small wrists and it fits him nicely. He loves tracking his steps all all day and being able to check the time. We like having daily competitions to see who gets the most steps. I love that it helps promote staying active!

I already have these for my children, I brought another one for my nephew who is 5. Worth the investment they are good as you can track their steps and sleeping pattern when you download the app. Great for monitoring. Helps them with telling the time. My 5,8 and 9 year old have it and it fits well. The only thing I must add his the track isn’t great I had to replace my 9 year old strap not sure when it was damage but once replace its fine. Makes a great gift. Needs charging every few days ofourse depends how much you play around with it. My children charge it once a week, so I would say that’s a good battery life. Comes in two colours pink and blue.

Kids like them, helps them to be active. Pairing is easy, quality is good. Got sleep monitor which i used for my kids. Only complain is charging cable is too short; you’ll end up charging the watch on the floor and can easily be detached from the watch. More features added to the watch will be great also.

My son loves having a fitbit and is constantly checking how many steps he has taken. He also initiates walks or runs so that he can get more steps. It has made him more conscience of inactivity from watching TV or playing video games. We may need to adjust the settings, but he is only getting counted 1 step for every 2 he takes. Also the sleep seems inaccurate because it will give him 2 hours sometimes for a full night sleep. This is not a big deal for us as we are more interested in keeping him active during the day .

Very accurate with sleep, steps, active minutes, and the time. Very comfortable, and compact. Will fit almost any kid ages 6-13. Overall this ace 2 is a very smart device and very awesome. (written by my grandson).I love it because it acts as a watch. He now has a better sense of time and can come inside at whatever time he's told. Much better than previous "watches" he had. Highly recommend!

We purchased this on a whim because we were curious about how much our ADHD boy walks throughout the day and we have not been disappointed! He loves it and it has encouraged him to want to exercise versus play with his Pokemon cards all day. One note I have to parents - it has been more effective when worn on the ankle and it is less likely to be played with.It does have the added benefit, when worn on the ankle, of looking like a house arrest anklet and boy has that been a fun trick to play on people.

Our son wanted a Fitbit for Christmas so that is what he got. He is 8 years old and loves it. He's constantly tracking his steps and trying to beat his goal of 10,000 steps every day. We had some issues trying to setup the app on his Kindle so my wife set it up on her iPhone. Other than that the Fitbit has worked great. It holds a charge for most of the week and then we charge it overnight. It shows date, time, steps and can track active time and sleep habits. It's also waterproof.Our son loves the celebratory messages and badges he receives for meeting and exceeding his step goals. This keeps him motivated to stay moving.I would recommend this for any kid or any parent who wants to keep their kids motivated.

Mein Sohn 9 Jahre alt wollte eine Uhr mit Schrittzähler also machte ich mich auf die Suche.Mir war wichtig das sie keinen Schnickschnack nebenbei enthalten sollte wo er abgelenkt werden kann.Diese Uhr haben wir noch vor der Veröffentlichung bestellt und pünktlich dann auch erhalten.Das Armband ist bis jetzt sehr robust. Prima auch das es zum wechseln ist.Es stinkt auch nicht oder färbt ab.Das Ladekabel ist relativ kurz aber für uns ausreichend.Die Akkulaufzeit ist beeindruckend lange und wenn man möchte kann man sie ja zwischendurch dranhängen. Die Ladezeit ist recht flott.Mein Sohn ist absolut begeistert von ihr.Was ich sehr interessant finde, es wird so grob das Schlafverhalten gemessen. Ich hatte eh schon den Verdacht das er nicht ausreichend schläft bzw. sehr oft Nachts aufwacht. Das hat sich jetzt auch damit bestätigt.Das Familienkonto können wir eigentlich nicht so nutzen da er der einzige jetzt ist mit so einer Fitbit aber mal schaun vielleicht holen wir uns ja alle noch eine für Erwachsene.Wir haben sie hauptsächlich wegen der Uhrzeit geholt denn ich weiß das mein Kind den ganzen Tag aktiv ist.Sie ist auf jeden Fall total empfehlenswert. Die Qualität ist auch super.Wenn ihr also eine Uhr für euer Kind sucht dann kauft sie. Sie enthält wie schonmal erwähnt keinen unnötigen Schnickschnack. Somit auch für die Schule geeignet

Got this Fitbit for my 6 year old the summer before first grade. We, as a family, are doing challenges to encourage us to move. Man, does that little guy get a TON of steps in! Lol. The watch is easy to set up and use. Battery life is great, can get wet and I would buy again if needed. I do have him take it off at night to give his skin a break as it can rub his wrist red in spots if he wears it non stop. He love it!
