When Terminating the ends in the box , placing back inside the box a small amount of slack, after retesting the jack after it was plated, I found a couple of pair not showing on the tester. I pulled the cable out and notice that wiggling the cable brought the two missing pair back on line. I re-punched down the jack and tested still 2 pair missing again. I replaced the jack just in case. Nope wasn't the problem the short was from pushing some excess cable inside the box. I pulled some slack out of the ceiling and cut off the end about 1 foot up. Punched the jack back on and was fine. This happened to 1 additional run as well. I pairs in this product break that easily and short, I'll go back to buying my cable in person and not online.

As with all CCA, if you are using it professionally its because you need it in a pinch or you just do not want to spend 2-3x the amount for solid. That being said, this stuff fits the bill. A few kinks (my pet peeve) but that is to be expected. Rolled out another 100ft and didn't have one kink, so might've just been at the front of the roll. But as I said, this price is nearly unbeatable for 1000ft spool.

As advertised, this is basic cat5 wire, and it does what it is supposed to do.

Good network cable for the price. I'm installing it throughout my house, taking advantage of a temporarily torn-open wall. It's great to be able to "do it right" for my home network.
