This is a pretty nice quality 4 camera and NVR system, the security cameras look and feel very well made as does the the NVR, the cameras were super easy to setup and they connect to the pretty fast and with no issues, the cameras can be connected to the NVR wirelessly via a wifi connection or you can connect them via an ethernet cable, both methods are easy to do, except you do have to run quite a bit of cable with the ethernet method, I connected my cams wirelessly and all 4 cams have a good strong signal, the picture and video quality is also really good, the video is crystal clear with good coloring and a lot of detail, the recorded video to the NVR plays back nice and smooth with very little to no lagging at all, the NVR is pretty easy to use and I like that I can connect it to my TV and watch all the saved videos, the system also has a free app so you can view the camera from pretty much anywhere, the app is fairly easy to and easy to navigate once you've used it a few times, one other feature I thought was pretty cool is that each camera has a flashing red and blue LED light when it detects motion, all in all I am very happy with the overall quality and performance of this security camera system, definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Incredible camera system with some caveats. The installation is kind of a bear if not a professional. The dvr is quite loathsome in some ways as the WiFi connection is weak due to the poor reception of the WiFi card. Ethernet connection great however need a “command center” type setup with a screen that has hdmi or vga I/o in conjunction with an adequate ethernet cable that will allow you to connect to your photo as well as view off a screen simultaneously. So keep that in mind whenever setting up that you wanted somewhat close to your boat modem. Also it does have tracking and you can move the frame from side to side slightly. It doesn’t have full peripheral mobilization. Now for the good stuff the system has quite the astounding amount of assets and features that allow it to be almost a super system. The picture quality is incredible. Almost movie quality if you will. It has enough to do your own private network so that way, it can be separate standalone VPN accessed on a intranet system, which is handy if you’re really on the safe side of things I think that’s why the Internet hook up is so cumbersome to begin with because it does require some networking skills to set it up in a regularly functional way. One thing I liked is the peripherals that came with. It came with a mouse, which was quite handy, not having a shop for one. Also it helps with the interface in terms of accessibility to menus and functionality of the entire system has one USB input for that as a VHBGA as well as HDMI and the ethernet. I do find the flashing lights during set up, quite annoying as they do create a lot of attention when trying to figure out how to initially install the system. Installing the system, and to make it work as a cohesive unit was not easy so to speak. At least in a way that allowed me to access it remotely. Overall, I will give this product 3.8 stars reflected with four as the Wi-Fi card is not as strong as I would hope it was would be connecting to my Wi-Fi network and has been quite difficult. Positives include outstanding picture quality overall features, and relatively simple interface for menus and functionality.

I picked this up to cover an area around my shed, in addition to the cameras I already have. My current cameras are pretty old and they were an older model when I bought them, but they are IP cameras as well.I set this product up on a table to make sure everything works. Everything works, but the flashing red/blue lights on the camera are not programmable and they are always on when they detect motion. The flashing lights are not dusk to dawn, and there is no switch to turn them off. They come on every time they detect motion and stay on night or day. I tried to find a way in the control panel to turn them off, but could not. They might be good for certain applications, but they are really bright and annoying. This would be a great FEATURE, if they had a switch to turn them off, or make them only operate from dusk to dawn or better yet, a specific time range. I have long looked for cameras that had motion sensors built into them to aid in benchmarking movement on the camera, but this particular motion sensor appears to be there only to operate the flashing lights.Aside from that and not my only complaint, but these cameras and NVR unit are pretty decent. The base unit comes preinstalled with a 1tb hard drive. The size of the hard drive is okay, but not great. 4 Tb and above are ideal, especially if you want to extend the number of cameras you connect to the unit. The base unit has both VGA and HDMI out, along with a network port and USB slot. The NVR supports up to 10 IP cameras, but I'm not sure how well it will handle 10 IP cameras at the same time. The cameras have a aluminum case and a plastic mounting plate. The joint is a ball joint and is a clever made steel on steel joint that can accommodate a myriad of orientations. The camera quality is fairly good for 5mp, although I don't feel like the picture quality is any better than my 3mp cameras. The camera also only have 2 IR LED's so the night vision range isn't quite as far as my current cameras that have 3 LEDS. In between the 2 IR LED's is the flashing lights that I mentioned before. I took the end off one of these cameras to see if there was anything that I could unplug or switch off, but quickly found that I would have to disassembly quite a bit to get to those lights. Optionally, you could put a piece of tape over those lights, but that would only partially obscure them and might interfere with the IR LED's. A better idea would be to cover up the motion sensor as I think the only thing it does is turn those lights on and off.The cameras also come with 2 antennas, which does give it a little more range than my current cameras, but not by much. I can clearly connect a camera on the opposite side of my house, but there are indications of a poor connection in lag time and spotty response. The cameras can also be connected by ethernet, but I know from experience with my current setup, that this process can be cumbersome, difficult, and without any useful instructions on how to do so.The app that is installed on the NVR either comes from open source or was purchased to install. It is almost identical (in every way) to the antiquated app that came with my Heimvision setup. It does include some new features like AI facial detection and support for 2 way audio, but in some ways more restricted that my current NVR. Playback only allows you to select 2 cameras for playback while my current setup allows 4 at a time. It also doesn't let you playback at x16 speed (only x8), which the Heimvision unit can. This would lead me to believe that this NVR has inferior hardware.I did not try the HonestView app as it was rated poorly on the app store. I already use the PC application, Esee Cloud, that they suggest in the manual and that works pretty good. This security camera setup is functional, but doesn't add too much more than a system I bought 5 years ago. The AI detection tool works pretty good for identifying people and summarizing your playback. The flashing lights are a nuisance. In my opinion, the price was too high for what you get.

I would recommend this product to everyone. The insulation was simple and easy. We did have an issue with one of the eight. Contacted the company and their response was instant. A very kind and patient Ms. Janet helped us through the process of checking it out and when it couldn't be fixed sent one within days.
