I used this to remove ice from my driveway and walkways after a recent storm and it worked fairly well. Very sharp blade that breaks up and gets between the concrete and ice well to remove it. On tougher areas it was hard to use the lip to step on it to get exter power since it is kind of small. It also works really well to remove snow that was packed down after you drive on it and a regular shovel isn't working.

Leider hat mich diese Schneeschaufel enttäuscht. Auf den Abbildungen wirkte sie deutlich größer. Aber in der Praxis ist sie sehr klein und daher nicht ideal um größere Mengen Schnee effizient zu beseitigen oder wegzuschieben.Der Zusammenbau war zwar einfach, jedoch nicht ohne Probleme. Die Löcher für die Schrauben waren nicht passgenau, was das Verschrauben unnötig erschwert hat. Nach dem Aufbau wirkte die gesamte Konstruktion eher wackelig.Insgesamt gibt es definitiv stabilere und besser konstruierte Alternativen.

Sharp, Flat Scrapper, 11" Wide w/ 46.5" Detachable HandleThis is so NOT a shovel. Too small to shovel.It was easy to put together.It is okay on ice cracking, but we ended up using it to push through whatever got stuck between the slats on the decking.This pushed seeds, rocks, leaves, & some ice through the slats.I imagine it would be good for edging or cutting soil, but this is NOT a shovel.

This is very convenient to have for the car or maybe as a personal backup for a complex that cleans snow for you. However, this is not sturdy enough for regular use. I plan to keep it by the front door only to us after snow cleaning. Very easy to assemble and unassemble.

Zwischen Lieferung und dieser Rezension fiel nicht genügend Schnee für einen echten Praxistest. Doch dichte, kleinteiliges s Laub sollte mir genügend Belege dafür geliefert haben, dass die Feststellungen nicht nur reine Theorie sind.Eine Schneeschaufel ist in der Regel nicht nur ein schmales, flaches Stück Metall. Um Zentimeter hoch liegenden Schnee zu beseitigen, schiebe ich diesen immer vor mir her und soweit zusammen, dass ich die gestaute Menge zur Seite schaufeln kann. Mit 25 Zentimeter Breite, die sich nach hinten sogar starkverjüngt, ist dies die mit Abstand schmalste Schneeschaufel, die ich je besessen habe. Der gestaute Schnee wird auch weder seitlich, noch auf der Schaufel selbst bleiben, sondern seitlich und nach hinten wieder auf das zu räumende Stück Boden zurückfallen, da eine seitliche Führung fehlt. Prinzipiell ist es daher in Sachen Winterdienst nur ein Schaufelblech, mit dem man einen Viertel Quadratmeter nach dem andern von unter her anhebt und zur Seite schaufelt. Dabei fällt dennoch ein großer Teil wieder zurück, weshalb das Schneeräumen ein erheblicher und unnötiger Zeit- und Kraftaufwand wird. Die scheinbar beste Einsatzmöglichkeit, nämlich mit dem Schaufelblatt unter eine gefrorene Eisfläche zu gelangen und diese abzuhebeln, findet ihr Ende in dem groß und rot auf der Schaufel angebrachten Warnhinweis "Bitte verwenden Sie die Klinge nicht, um etwas aufzubrechen". Der Grund dafür dürfte sein, dass die Klinge an die Schaufel nur angenietet ist und an dieser Stelle bei etwas zu viel Druck und durch die Hebelwirkung des langen Stiels abbrechen würde.Das Material selbst ist stabil und schwer, vermutlich kaum rostend. Der in der Länge verstellbare Stiel ist genial und in der Tat ergonomischer, weil Rücken schonender als die gewöhnlichen Stiele bei Gartengeräten. Beides sorgt für die zwei Sterne meiner Bewertung.Das Werkzeug mag für die Unkrautbeseitigung an Rasenkanten geeignet sein. Dafür fallen mir aber andere und besser geeignete Werkzeuge ein, mit denen man auch an kleineren und ungeraden Kanten arbeiten kann. So ist dieser Artikel für mich ein Spezialwerkzeug, um eine lange, gerade Rasenkante akkurat zu modellieren. Dafür habe ich persönlich keinen Bedarf, aber wenn sich diese Aufgabe regelmäßig stellt, sollte man sich zwei weitere Sterne für diesen Einsatzzweck hinzudenken,

Had issues with ice patches on the front all the scrapers that we had for the shovels weren’t working well at all nothing was removing the ice.Took the unit out of the box had assembled, and the ice couldn’t stand a chance instantly removed all the ice no issues whatsoever gonna save a bundle. I’m not having to buy so much rock salt this season.

This will come in handy as the ice builds on the porch. You can scrape and shovel with it to clear your driveway or porch. Very durable and comes in handy.

The blade of this tool is 11" wide. I live in New Hampshire where we may get a warm enough day to melt some snow only to have it freeze as a layer of ice on my driveway overnight. The metal is of a decent thickness which should cut under the ice to remove it without a problem. The driveway doesn't get hardly any sunlight in the winter so the ice could stay there for months if not removed. This tool should help out a lot. Also, dirt, leaves and pine needles collect on the sides of the driveway which need to be scraped back. Again, this tool should do a nice job cleaning that up.

The photos made this look like it was a lot wider than it is. Unfortunately, it's not, and the size and shape are nowhere near right to be used as a shovel, which kinda defeats the purpose. It'll be a decent ice breaker, I'm sure, but it's useless as a shovel.It would also benefit from having a better handle at the end, as it'll be hard to get the right amount of leverage without the flat handle end up top.If you're looking just for an ice breaker, this should work, but if you're looking for a combination tool, I'd pass on this.
