Twist Lock Connection
Our twist lock connection makes it easy to assemble your chimney pipe and components. Simply place two sections together and twist until secure. Finish the connection with our included locking band for a water tight connection that won't come loose in wind or snow.
Ceramic Fiber Blanket Insulation
Sandwiched between our inner and outer wall is a 1.18" thick ceramic fiber blanket insulation. This compressed blanket of insulation ensures there will be no hot spots in your chimney caused by settling of the insulation like you get with loose filled insulated chimney pipe.
.019" Thick 304 Stainless Steel Inner and Outer Walls
Our inner and outer walls are made of 304 stainless steel that measures a minimum of .019" thick.

I hate when birds die in our wood stove, so I went for this product when I saw the 5th picture under the top pic -- it showed the screen. But there is not one included. So I returned it and went for the other HST top they are selling -- this one with the pointy top has arrived, and it does have one. Other than that, it's great. You could cut and wrap some half inch hardware cloth around it...

This chimney cap is sturdy and well made. Not a cheap flimsy piece of metal. But we had difficulty getting it to lock on to our existing metalbestos stove pipe. Hubby made it work though.
