For a freezer this expensive for its size, I would expect it to do exactly what it says which is go to -40f bought this for dip and dots. Is not cold enough to keep them perfect.

Freezer would never get below -24F, had to return. Tested with multiple thermometers that were rated down to -50C. Condenser would run constantly. Sides of unit were cold so I don't believe there is enough insulation on this unit to support -46F temperatures -- door seals seemed fine.

TO PREFACE THE TITLE MY FIANCE IS OBSESSED WITH DIP N DOTS. AS A GIFT I BOUGHT THIS UNDER THE IMPRESSION ACCORDING TO THEIR LISTED SPECS AND HEAD LINE THAT THE FREEZER GETS TO -46 DEGREES WHICH DIP N DOTS NEEDS -40 DEGREES IN ORDER TO BE STORED NORMALLY. IF IT IS ANY LESS DIP N DOTS DO NOT STORE WITHIN THIS FREEZER. THE ONLY THING IT SHOULD BE USED FOR IS NORMAL FREEZER GOODS.TLDR: INCORRECTLY ADVERTISED AND NOT MEANT TO STORE ANYTHING THAT NEEDS -20 DEGREE F OR BELOW.

My deep freezer came with one dent I was not happy with. A small chip towards the bottom also. The inside was prefect and runs great.
