I recently purchased this small freezer and delighted with the outcome. I was able to setup this freezer by myself. It's just the right size that it fits right next to my counter tops and looks great. I followed instructions and it's so quiet , you can't hear the motor running. It has stayed at the correct temp. A great buy if you just need a little extra freezer space.

The plastic on the freezer is very difficult to remove and there was a dent in the front of the freezer other then that it works!

I’m just going to say this because it needs saying: Why does anyone use FedEx? As others have indicated, my freezer arrived with a big dent on the lid edge, in front. It also arrived late. Par for the course with FedEx, and I’m kinda wishing I waited and grabbed the 5 cu. ft. option from the big chain store I saw for thirty bucks less. But the thing is here now, and I’m waiting 24 hours as instructed before plugging it in, so this is just my initial impression:Size and design are decent. The basket is useful and a welcome addition. The cord is thick and sturdy, and long enough for my needs. The lid opens and stays put, and there’s plenty of space to work with (though make sure you have 24” clearance above.)The clear plastic sheet covering the metal was torn in some places, and I ended up having to remove it on the front which was a chore. The manual is sometimes barely comprehensible in broken English, but you get the gist of most of the instructions. The manual makes no mention of the little vent or outlet in the front on the bottom, and I assume that’s where it drains when you turn it off. I am hoping it won’t drain an other time because this thing is sitting on a carpeted floor, but who knows? The instructions don’t say.The grey color looks good, and blends in with my home’s surroundings and decor instead of standing out like white would. The control dial is big and clearly marked, and easy to operate. The wheels on the bottom are a nice touch to make it easier to move around.The shipping box is nigh impossible to keep intact upon opening, so returns are a mystery to me. It definitely needed more padding around the freezer, because as noted by myself and others, FedEx blows chunks and WILL ding and dent this item by the time they finally get around to delivering it.So right now, I’m saying 5 stars for the actual item, but -1 star for the poorest of choices in shipping company and the lackluster padding in the box to protect it from them.
