First, I was impossible to open up the bottom of the handle to store stuff. I went back to the description to make sure I hadn’t read it wrong. Nope. It’s supposed to open up at the bottom. I love this idea! But it wouldn’t open. I even tried two pairs of pliers to get some torque. It wouldn’t budge.As for the rest? The quality of the plastic seems cheap and fragile. I wouldn’t trust my expensive camera or lights on the cheap plastic.2 shoe mounts plus a removable clip for a go pro and interior storage? Great concept. Poorly executed.

The listing for this floating grip has two different products shown in the photos. You will receive the one with the diagonal ridges on the grip - not the diamond pattern. Don't order this if you want to store items inside the grip because it does not screw open like shown in one of the photos. The orange base is firmly attached and did not come off no matter how hard I tried. It has 2 cold shoe mounts on the sides. I haven't had a chance to try it in the ocean yet but it floated when I placed it in water. It is very light. A wrist strap provides an added layer of protection with an adjustable slider which can be tightened around your wrist to prevent it from being able to come off. I do not have any complaints with this floating hand grip. I docked it one star for the false information in the listing.
